Thammanat Delivers Fiery Speech in Mukdahan, Accuses Some Parties of Being Pitch Black, Reveals Imminent Arrest Warrants

Thammanat delivered a fiery speech in Mukdahan Province, accusing some parties of being "not gray, but pitch black," revealing that some members of these parties are about to have arrest warrants issued. He affirmed that if Kla Tham forms the government, it will decisively resolve border disputes. He declared that opponents are already afraid just by his name being mentioned.

At 16:00 on 27 Jan 2026 GMT+7, the Kla Tham Party, led by Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, party advisory chairman and prime minister candidate, along with Lt. Cmdr. Anudit Nakornthap, the party's strategy chairman, held a major rally in Mukdahan Province to support the party's candidates in the election. The event was held at the Mukdahan City Hall to campaign for candidates Phanomchai Panputh, Mukdahan MP candidate for District 1, number 5, and Lekadam Traisornakhom Nong Rueang, Mukdahan MP candidate for District 2, number 1.

Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, as the party advisory chairman, stated that the Kla Tham Party's working principles are based on "Not selling dreams but delivering real results." Especially focusing on solving land-use and debt problems of the people, such as converting SPK 4-01 land into agricultural land title deeds.

During the speech, Lt. Col. Thammanat, Kla Tham's prime minister candidate, referred to some political parties, saying they present themselves as pure white cloth, then accuse others of being black or gray. He questioned what standards they use. In the end, everything they accuse applies to themselves and their parties. Some parties are not gray but pitch black. Currently, some members of those parties are about to have arrest warrants issued. That is true pitch black.

He then addressed border issues, stating that some parties question the need for the military and suggest reducing personnel. He responded that the military is needed. He also mentioned that yesterday someone campaigned in his home province of Phayao, and he said frankly that he does not give them credit.

When asked by reporters about the Thailand-Cambodia border issue and how Kla Tham would address it if elected, Lt. Col. Thammanat revealed that negotiation is good, but if it fails, a decisive approach is necessary to start anew. Without a decisive resolution, conflicts will continue, sometimes escalating to shootings. He emphasized the necessity of maintaining the military and acquiring necessary weapons for national defense.

He concluded by saying that during cabinet formation, he was a candidate for defense minister, and just having his name on the list made opponents fearful. He was straightforward, mentioning receiving calls he did not answer. He affirmed that if his party returns to government, border disputes must be definitively resolved and ended.
