
The Director of Nakhon Ratchasima's Election Commission revealed that two complaints of parliamentary election law violations have been filed. They have also set a 1 million baht reward for those who provide tips on election fraud, along with 16 rapid response teams to combat corruption.
On 28 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Piyanat Klangpanom, Director of the Nakhon Ratchasima Election Office, stated, “So far, there have been two complaints accusing violations of election laws related to defamation. The Nakhon Ratchasima Election Commission has dispatched investigation teams to gather evidence following proper procedures for both cases. Additionally, the Commission has established 16 rapid response teams—one for each electoral district—to deter and suppress election fraud, ready to act immediately upon receiving complaints or whistleblower information.”
Furthermore, a reward of up to 1 million baht has been offered for reporting election law offenders. Ms. Piyanat urged all 16 parliamentary candidates and their supporters to strictly comply with the law to ensure the election is conducted fairly and transparently.”
