“Teng Natthapong” campaigned at Ruam Sap Market in the Asoke area, drawing office workers and students eager for selfies. He is confident that the People’s Party (PPChon) will win all 33 districts this election. He views the dismissal of “Dr. Supat” as a clear case of political harassment and bullying rather than a proper decision.
At 12:30 PM on 28 January 2026 at Ruam Sap Market, Asok Montri, Bangkok, Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People’s Party (PPChon), along with Mr. Phanthon Nuamjeum, PPChon candidate for Bangkok MP, campaigned energetically. Upon arrival, many office workers and students flocked to offer support and requested selfies along the way. Mr. Natthapong said the response was very positive. Most people in this market live both inside and outside the constituency, so he took the opportunity to ask for votes from all Bangkok residents. This marks the start of the orange flag campaign for the 2023 election across 32 districts. This time, he is confident of securing all 33 Bangkok MP seats. Party-list MPs are also important; last election, Bangkok voters gave the Progressive Movement 49%. Now, the People’s Party aims to increase the vote by 400,000 votes to reach 60%, aiming to gain one additional party-list seat.
Regarding Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's statement that he discussed with Labor Minister Treenuch Thienthong and confirmed that the Social Security Office acted correctly and followed all regulations, Mr. Natthapong said he would like the Prime Minister to review his own party to see if anyone inside it might have been involved, such as being a building owner or connected to the Social Security Fund’s purchase of the SKYY9 building. The investigation results have raised suspicions about a rushed purchase at an inflated price. Currently, those involved in the transaction are all within the Prime Minister’s party. Therefore, he asked whether the Prime Minister has checked himself, which would be reasonable and not unusual.
Mr. Natthapong spoke about the dismissal of Dr. Supat Hasuwannakit, saying that Dr. Supat still fully qualifies to run as an MP and urged the public not to worry. The party will fight to the fullest extent. When asked if this case might be political harassment, he said it was quite clear. However, the most important thing is for the people to decide through the upcoming election. If they believe the work done by the Rural Doctors’ Team was right, he hopes people will stand by what is right and help elect Dr. Supat into parliament and support the People’s Party to form the government.
