Dr. Ong Padipat criticized Jadeth for using campaign signs with the number but in orange tones, urging him to stop and compete properly. Local people in Phitsanulok admitted the signs cause confusion and appear politically non-transparent.
At 4:00 p.m. on 28 Jan 2026 GMT+7, a reporter in Phitsanulok asked locals about candidate Jadeth Chantra, number 4 for Pheu Thai Party in Phitsanulok constituency 1. Jadeth's campaign signs show only the number 4, no candidate photo or party name, and use orange instead of red. Mr. Padipat Santipada, former deputy council chairman and campaign assistant for the Prachachon Party, posted that he wants a government chosen by the people where Folk Natchon beats Buranasak number 5 and Prachachon Party number 46 only, tagging Jadeth saying: “To you, Boo Jadeth Chantra, making number 4 signs without the Pheu Thai party logo and using orange tones...”
...and telling Phitsanulok people to vote number 4 and party number 46 while ignoring your own party like this...
I see it as just typical campaigning, like other politicians do.
But on the other hand, it creates confusion among voters and spreads misleading narratives.
I want them to stop doing this and compete as they should.
Come to debate stages so Phitsanulok people know your thoughts, policies, and whether you'll keep your promises.
Clearly tell people that if elected, how the government will be different from the past two years under the Pheu Thai Party.
What laws will you propose as an MP? I invite you.”
From the reporter’s field investigation, there are about 100 such campaign signs. Locals expressed confusion because Pheu Thai Party’s color is red, but these signs only show number 4 in orange, causing voters to be puzzled about the political tactics and view them as lacking transparency.
The reporter also noted that in Phitsanulok, only two parties use number-only campaign signs: candidate Jak Phanchuphet from Bhumjaithai Party, constituency 1, number 2, and candidate Jadeth Chantra from Pheu Thai Party, constituency 1, number 4. Both are leading contenders for the constituency 1 parliamentary seat in Phitsanulok.
