"Ink" came with her husband to visit "Thaksin" revealed that her father is slightly ill and not feeling well, but continues to offer encouragement "Yotsanan" as usual
At 10:00 a.m. on 29 Jan 2026, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra and her husband, Mr. Pitak Suksawat, representing the family, visited Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra. They came accompanied by Mr. Vinyat Chatmontri, Thaksin's personal lawyer, amid media attention and a group of Red Shirt supporters who had gathered outside Klong Prem Central Prison to show their support.
After about 30 minutes of the family visit, Ms. Paethongtarn said she left a bit early today because her father was not feeling well. He told her that he had a cooking class this morning, but from what she saw, he appeared unwell and probably needed to rest for a while.
When asked about the upcoming election and the improved poll results for Dr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Ms. Paethongtarn smiled slightly and replied, "That's good. Father continues to give his support as usual. Nothing new to add."
When further questioned about the Gen Z For Pheuthai movement and whether Thaksin felt pleased that the younger generation is boldly standing by their ideals, Ms. Paethongtarn said she hadn’t asked her father about it and so wasn’t sure. However, personally, she felt very pleased. She had met the group in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai during the recent campaign efforts and found them very lovely.
