Teng Campaigns in Kanchanaburi to Build on Move Forward Partys Success, Appeals for Votes for Both Prachachon Party Ballots

"Teng Natthapong" made an unscheduled visit to Kanchanaburi to stimulate support for the Prachachon Party, aiming to build on the success of the Move Forward Party. He appealed for voters to choose both Prachachon Party ballots. A local group in Kanchanaburi wrote a letter requesting the Constitutional Court to remain within its proper jurisdiction.

29 Jan 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the Prachachon Party and prime ministerial candidate, visited Kanchanaburi to support the Prachachon Party candidates for the House of Representatives. He campaigned in front of the Kanchanaburi bus terminal and Tha Muang market. The atmosphere was lively, with citizens and vendors asking to take photos with Mr. Natthapong and offering encouragement, hoping the Prachachon Party wins the election.

Mr. Natthapong said the purpose of his visit was to restore hope and boost morale. Upon arrival, he received a letter from someone asking him to ensure that the Constitutional Court stays within its rightful jurisdiction. He said that the court's overreach has led to a situation where anyone's actions require approval from the court, which is why constitutional reform is necessary to improve Thailand's political system.

The Prachachon Party leader and prime ministerial candidate added that they want to improve Thailand's political system. He noted that in the 2023 election, Kanchanaburi demonstrated its power by voting Move Forward Party as the number one party on the party-list ballots. Previously, he said, the Move Forward Party changed Thailand; now he asked voters to support the Prachachon Party on both ballots. "We want to form a people's government to create change. This time, don't lose hope yet; let's continue to fight together."

The reporter added that today's visit was scheduled between public meetings and debates. After campaigning in Kanchanaburi, Mr. Natthapong will proceed to a debate event in the Bang Khae area.
