On 1 February, it is the day for advance voting. Polling stations will open from 08:00 to 17:00. On 8 February, which is the main election day and referendum, polling will also be open during the same hours, 08:00 to 17:00.

What should be prepared for advance voting 2026?

When going to vote, it is recommended to bring identification documents as follows:

  • A 13-digit national ID card; expired cards are also accepted.
  • Photo ID cards with a citizen ID number, such as a passport or driver's license.
  • You may also show your ID card via the ThaiD application or your driver's license via the DLT QR Licence app.

Do I need to bring a pen for advance voting 2026?

There is no need to bring your own pen; the polling station will provide one. To mark the ballot correctly, simply put an X in the box next to your chosen candidate. You may only mark one box per ballot.
