What do you need to prepare for advance voting in 2026?

When going to vote, it is recommended to bring valid proof of identity as follows:

  • A 13-digit ID card. Even if it has expired, it is still acceptable.
  • Any photo ID with a citizen ID number, such as a passport or driver's license.
  • You may also present your ID card through the ThaiD application or your driver's license via the DLT QR Licence app.

Do you need to bring your own pen for advance voting in 2026?

Voters do not need to bring their own pens; pens will be provided at the polling stations. To mark your ballot correctly, simply put an X mark in the box for your chosen candidate. Only one box may be marked per ballot.
