Yotsanan Urges Chiang Mai Residents to Elect Him as Prime Minister, Explains 9 Millionaire a Day Economic Policy as a Fundraising Project

Yotsanan Wongsawat gave a speech in San Pa Tong, appealing to the people of Chiang Mai to support him as prime minister. He explained that the policy to create nine millionaires daily is a fundraising project.

On 30 January 2026 at 09:00, at the Central Agricultural Market in San Pa Tong district, Chiang Mai, Yotsanan Wongsawat, prime minister candidate, along with Chulaphan Amornwiwat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party and their prime minister candidate, visited to support Natphat Ratphathai, candidate for Chiang Mai MP in district 8, and Yongyut Yawichai, candidate for district 9, in their campaigns. The atmosphere was lively with a full crowd listening to the speeches. As soon as Yotsanan arrived, people requested photos and presented him with flowers and garlands made of marigolds, pork crackling, and spatulas. In his speech, Yotsanan said, “Greetings to all mothers, fathers, and brothers and sisters of Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai is my hometown. As a fellow Chiang Mai native, I will do my best to lead Thailand forward. Today, we must decisively choose all 10 constituencies. The purpose of a political party is to deliver policies to the people. Pheu Thai has done this since the days of Thai Rak Thai, through the People's Power Party, to Pheu Thai. Please elect me as the 33rd prime minister from Chiang Mai. For a better quality of life for Chiang Mai people, we will move forward with clean air initiatives and the national longan strategy. We will definitely continue this. OTOP originated from Thai Rak Thai but has since declined. Next time, we will lead the way to take OTOP products to the global market.”

Yotsanan said, “Some may criticize us, asking where the money will come from, but don’t worry—we know how to generate funds. This project will bring money into the country and integrate businessmen into the system. It's a plan to create nine millionaires every day. Many say it's about handing out money, but the reality is about bringing people into the formal system. I care deeply about the people and want to bring them into the system, but there must be incentives, and this is what we have chosen. Raising funds for railways and roads is the job of politicians—we must bring money into the country. This is what we will do. This is the mindset we have always had since the Thai Rak Thai party, passed down to Pheu Thai: reduce expenses, increase income, and expand opportunities.”
