Supachai Affirms She Is Not a Blue Shirt Figure and Is Unafraid of Political Smears

Supachai took the stage to ask for votes for the Unlock Thailand Future Party, saying that life after the election is in everyone's hands. "Choose hope or conflict." She said she is not afraid of political mudslinging and insisted she is not a blue shirt figure.

At 16:20 on 30 Jan 2026 at Lumphini Park, Bangkok, the Bhumjaithai Party held its first major campaign rally in the Bangkok election arena, led by party leader and prime ministerial candidate Anutin Charnvirakul. The event featured the economic dream team, Ekkanit Nitithanprapas, and campaign assistant Supachai Sutampan, along with all 33 Bangkok MP candidates, to communicate policies and build confidence among Bangkok residents during the critical election period.

Also present were party leaders and party-list MP candidates such as Sabida Thaiseth, Warawut Silpa-archa, Ekanat Phrompan, and Supamas Isarapakdi, who took the stage to present Bhumjaithai Party’s main policies addressing economic issues, national security, natural disasters, and social problems.

Reporters noted that the atmosphere at the Bhumjaithai Party’s first major Bangkok election rally was lively. From early evening, Bangkok residents finishing work and people exercising stopped by to listen, filling the area.

At 18:20, campaign assistant Supachai Sutampan took the stage, saying she had never been good at public speaking until this election because she is not a politician. But today, she said, she came to serve the country. "Why do we have politicians who create hatred and anger? Why are there no politicians caring for the people? After the election, people must live well. That’s why someone not used to this stage is standing here, for the country. I came because I am afraid. Our country faces many challenges: security threats, social division, and a frighteningly polarized and intense global economic crisis."

Supachai said small entrepreneurs and large industries alike cannot survive if Thailand does not position itself appropriately. "At this moment, we cannot risk experimenting anymore. We must build confidence, continuity, and trust, so those who trade with us feel assured that we are good partners."

She said she is part of the income sector. Last week, she attended the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 (WEF 2026) in Davos, Switzerland, where global supply chains are being restructured. Everyone agreed that the world’s opportunity now lies in Asia, and Asia’s opportunity lies in ASEAN—with the heart of ASEAN right here. If we miss this chance, we will be left behind. Therefore, being at the heart of global opportunity requires continuous effort. Which parties have addressed how to meet these global challenges? The party that talks about this is Bhumjaithai.

“Many say I am a ‘blue shirt figure,’ working for Bhumjaithai and for Prime Minister Anutin. Today, I want to clearly tell everyone that I do not work for Bhumjaithai or for Anutin, but for everyone here. I work for our country and for all Thai people, no matter what province they live in, whether they vote for us or not. We are all Thai and must deliver the best we can,” Supachai said.

Supachai stressed that no one in her family, friends, or teachers supports her standing here because standing with politicians is frightening. Before coming, she was afraid. Things she never said were claimed she said; things she never claimed were said she did; good things she did were attributed elsewhere. "Is this the politics we want? Where do the truly determined stand? But I have discarded all fear. Even if I face more mudslinging and attacks, I will stand here because the people in front of me and all Thais in this country are why I am committed to this."

She urged people to decide carefully. "I may not speak like others telling you to vote for Bhumjaithai, but please consider our future. Life after the election is in your hands. How do you want the country to move forward? Do you want it full of conflict, anger, and hatred? Or do you want a hopeful future with a team fully committed, no matter what challenges arise, to do what we set out to do?"

Supachai said the country’s economy cannot be fixed in just one area but must be addressed systemically. That’s why they designed the 10-plus economic policy to manage investment structures, trade frameworks to respond to geopolitics, environmental issues, and regulations that must be correct, transparent, precise, and uncomplicated, so all Thais can smile again. Importantly, their economic policy is not just about infrastructure but touches everyone—from small individuals to industries and all age groups—with economic policies for all.

She added that the country does not have abundant funds, running a budget deficit almost every year. This year, the deficit is one trillion baht, with government revenue at only three trillion baht, but expenses of four trillion baht—three point one trillion for regular spending and over four hundred billion for debt and interest payments on past obligations. Now only five hundred billion baht remains for best use. Therefore, Bhumjaithai’s policies do not focus on populism.

Supachai said she attended the ASEAN Summit, the APEC Ministerial Meeting, the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting, and WEF 2026. None of these discussions involved populism—they have moved beyond that stage. They talked about investment, market seeking, and trade partnerships. Who else besides Bhumjaithai talks about these?

“Please help me overcome my fear. Decide how you want our country to move forward. Your future is in your hands. Life after the election is in your hands. Decide well and with certainty who can lead you to overcome challenges and secure stable livelihoods. Please choose that number,” Supachai said.
