Thanathorn Leads Kla Tham Partys Major Rally in Chachoengsao, Emphasizes Policy Realism and Tackling Issues Head-On

Thanathorn led the Kla Tham party's major rally in Chachoengsao province, promoting policies to resolve agricultural land issues. He emphasized that the party does not make unrealistic promises but delivers results and confronts problems directly. Meanwhile, candidate Attakorn heatedly responded on stage to criticisms regarding the SEA Games organization, accusing a former minister of distorting facts and warning that problems would worsen without proper solutions.

On 30 January 2026 at 18:30, at Sanam Chai Khet market in Khu Yai Mee Subdistrict, Sanam Chai Khet District, Chachoengsao province, the Kla Tham party held its first major campaign rally in this election area. The event drew a lively crowd. Party leaders appeared on stage as a full team, led by Lieutenant Colonel Thanathorn Phrompha, party advisory chairman and prime ministerial candidate; Professor Dr. Narumon Pinyo Sinwat, party leader; Mrs. Pawina Hongsakul, social advisory chair; along with the four constituency candidates from Chachoengsao province, former Chachoengsao Provincial Administrative Organization President Mr. Kitti Paopiamsap, and former minister and multiple-term MP Mr. Itthi Sirilattayakorn.

The Kla Tham party's Chachoengsao MP candidates include: Constituency 1, Mr. Thapakorn Koetphitak, number 6; Constituency 2, Mr. Attakorn Sirilattayakorn, number 4; Constituency 3, Mr. Chaiwat Paopiamsap, number 4; and Constituency 4, Sergeant Major Yotsingh Liamlert, number 4.

Mr. Kitti Paopiamsap spoke on stage about his nearly 30 years of local political experience, emphasizing his continuous service to all 11 districts, never abandoning areas—especially Sanam Chai Khet, Tha Takiap, and rural regions lacking budget support. He also publicly endorsed his son, Mr. Chaiwat Paopiamsap, running as MP candidate for Constituency 3 under the Kla Tham party, urging the public to trust the "Kla Tham team" to continue their work at the national level.

Mr. Itthi Sirilattayakorn stated that this election is a crucial opportunity for Chachoengsao residents to elect representatives who truly understand the area and can be a voice in parliament on economic livelihood, budget access, and targeted problem-solving. He expressed confidence that if Kla Tham secures multiple seats here, it will tangibly improve citizens' quality of life, particularly by promoting tourism. Given Chachoengsao's many famous tourist spots and sacred sites attracting visitors from other provinces, the goal is to elevate the province from a "secondary city" to a "primary city" to build a grassroots economy.

Mrs. Pawina Hongsakul focused on social issues, children, women, and drug problems. She said she decided to work with the Kla Tham party because she admires Lieutenant Colonel Thanathorn and Professor Dr. Narumon’s commitment to promoting justice for the poor and vulnerable groups. She pointed out that the country is facing severe social problems and needs politicians who are "bold, action-oriented, and effective."

Professor Dr. Narumon urged voters to remember the party symbol on the ballot and to vote for Kla Tham, with Lieutenant Colonel Thanathorn as the party’s genuine prime minister candidate. She described him as a politician who makes bold decisions and confronts problems for the people's benefit. She criticized some parties’ large cash handout policies, saying the Election Commission should thoroughly scrutinize them for possible budgetary and legal violations.

The highlight of the event was Lieutenant Colonel Thanathorn’s speech, where he criticized many parties’ unrealistic promises. He expressed disagreement with pledges to distribute money without budget feasibility, emphasizing the principle "say what you can do, and do it." He promoted policies addressing agricultural land issues, especially regarding State Land Allocation (Sor Por Kor) areas in Tha Takiap district, where some investors hold land improperly. He pledged to reclaim these lands to allocate them to genuine farmers and to push for converting Sor Por Kor land deeds into agricultural title deeds, enhancing future land rights within legal frameworks.

He also addressed livelihood problems such as agricultural product prices, production costs, fertilizer, pesticides, electricity, and fuel expenses impacting farmers. He questioned the pricing structure where farmers receive low prices for their products, while big investors sell at high prices.

At the end, Lieutenant Colonel Thanathorn urged Chachoengsao residents to vote for all four Kla Tham candidates in the constituencies and support the party’s party-list system. He stressed that Kla Tham does not sell dreams but delivers real results, confronts problems boldly, and has a team of experienced former MPs ready to develop the province and improve citizens’ well-being.

After the rally, Lieutenant Colonel Thanathorn told reporters that Chachoengsao is a province where the party is highly confident it can establish a stronghold because its candidates are qualified, with proven continuous achievements, working closely with the people and never abandoning their areas. This is a key strength leading to the party’s success in this province.

Meanwhile, Mr. Attakorn Sirilattayakorn, Kla Tham candidate for Chachoengsao Constituency 2, number 4, spoke on stage addressing political issues and clarified his past achievements.

Mr. Attakorn responded to accusations by some parties that Kla Tham candidates avoid revealing their identities or party leaders. He affirmed that he has always worked openly in politics and respects Lieutenant Colonel Thanathorn Phrompha, Kla Tham party advisory chairman. He added that his political path arose from the opportunities given by Chachoengsao people and support from Lieutenant Colonel Thanathorn.

He stated that areas such as Bang Nam Priao, Bang Kla, Phanom Sarakham, Khlong Khuean, and Ratchasan are places he has been deeply involved with for over 15 years. He cited examples of his work, including promoting projects on the Bang Pakong River, releasing aquatic animals, supporting the Agricultural Cooperative Bank (BAAC) branch in Khlong Khuean, and pushing for irrigation systems and Don Ka floodgate projects, which had long been stalled for decades.

During his speech, Mr. Attakorn also rebutted allegations related to the SEA Games organization, stating that when he took responsibility, many accumulated problems required urgent fixes. He said his on-site observations showed the facilities were not ready as claimed, and he considered the former minister’s criticism a distortion of facts.

He said, “A former minister claimed I caused the SEA Games organization to 'disappear.' I say frankly, if I had not come, it would have been much worse. He told the people of Bang Nam Priao that during his time, everything was properly prepared except for the budget approval. But I tell the people honestly, when I arrived, what they called well-prepared was actually like wearing just one pair of underwear with the back torn. How could he say it was all ready? This really frustrates me; I normally don’t get this upset.”

Mr. Attakorn also spoke about his role overseeing the Ministry of Agriculture, highlighting efforts to resolve export problems of durians to China that had been stalled, attempts to address the sharp decline in longan prices due to oversupply, and issues concerning the black-barbel fish. He emphasized that he performed his duties fully, unlike many parties who claim they can do these things but show no tangible results.

Another topic raised was the major flood in Hat Yai area. Mr. Attakorn recounted that he worked alongside Lieutenant Colonel Thanathorn, then Deputy Prime Minister, to evacuate residents and stranded foreign athletes using a single fiberglass boat. Lieutenant Colonel Thanathorn was missing for over eight hours during the rescue, and they managed to help over 500-600 people. This exemplifies how Kla Tham is committed to tackling problems for people in distress.

At the end of his speech, Mr. Attakorn asked for the public’s support, reaffirming that all four Kla Tham candidates in Chachoengsao are ready to engage in politics by "doing more than just talking" and are fully committed to working for the local people. He urged voters to support the party’s candidates in this election.
