"Thanathorn" Spoke at the People’s Caravan rally in Prachinburi Province, confident about the 2026 election. "People’s Party" Running to form the government, not the opposition.
On 30 January 2026, reporters reported that at the People’s Party caravan rally held at the activity area of Industrial Estate 304, Si Maha Phot District, Prachinburi Province, Thanaporn Wijan, the People’s Party party-list candidate, addressed the crowd, saying she worked in factories like the audience and had witnessed many labor rights violations. They have long been neglected, but no political party is as serious about solving these problems as the People’s Party, which has labor networks and representatives who are workers in parliament.
The People’s Party has been serious since the time of the Future Forward Party, through the Move Forward Party, and now the People’s Party. Although in opposition, they have driven issues and passed beneficial laws for workers, such as the 120-day maternity leave law. Looking back to 1995, when textile workers pushed for this and it was recognized in the 1998 labor law, without the People’s Party today, extending maternity leave from 90 to 120 days wouldn’t have been possible.
Regarding social security reform, the People’s Party will push to reform social security to allow insured persons to participate in oversight of management. Today, red, blue, and light blue parties say they will reform social security during elections, but why did they not speak or act before? They have held ministerial positions for so long but have done nothing. When will they actually act?
Thanaporn added she promises that if they enter government, they will immediately amend social security laws. Therefore, if the people of Prachinburi and workers see the People’s Party as their choice and solution, they should vote overwhelmingly for both People’s Party ballots, and the quality of life for workers will change forever.
Meanwhile, Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, former leader of the Future Forward Party and People’s Party campaign assistant, said, "This election, we are not running to be the opposition. This time, we come to form the government and must win all three constituency MPs in Prachinburi. This will ensure the People’s Party achieves a significant victory over the second-place party, so that party will not shamelessly try to form a competing government."
