Piangphano Boonklam has written to eligible voters, requesting their consideration and attaching her background and work experience. Should the People’s Party have the opportunity to form the government, she pledges to close loopholes that enable corruption and reform the state system.
On 31 January 2026, Ms. Piangphano Boonklam, a member of the People’s Government management team, wrote a letter to all eligible voters. Copies were sent to Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, Ms. Sirikanya Tansakun, and Mr. Weerayut Kanchuchat, the three prime ministerial candidates of the People’s Party. In her letter, she submitted her application to join the new management team (requesting consideration) along with her education, work experience, and recognitions from various organizations.
She stated, “I, Ms. Piangphano Boonklam, introduce myself as a member of the People’s Government management team (should the People’s Party be given the opportunity to form the government). I offer myself to serve the country and all its people, including those who cannot voice their concerns due to physical limitations or life circumstances.”
She emphasized that the upcoming election is a crucial moment for Thailand’s future direction. She has been entrusted by party executives to join the team. However, the highest legitimacy for working for the country must come from the consensus of the people through sufficient votes in both constituency and party-list systems (ideally more than 200 seats and as close to 250 as possible) to ensure a stable government formation truly reflecting the people’s will.
Ms. Boonklam has over 38 years of experience in tax law, capital markets, investment, business rehabilitation, legal affairs, and managing large state enterprises and savings cooperatives. Her work spans professional and administrative roles grounded in correctness, transparency, and accountability, following principles of good governance. She believes in professional work; outsiders may not know her because her professional ethics avoid self-promotion, instead valuing results and the trust earned from colleagues and society.
She said her decision to enter politics was not easy and involved significant personal costs in many dimensions. Nevertheless, she chose this path for one reason: confidence that her experience, knowledge, and network can help solve the country’s structural problems, including corruption, shadow capital, weak economy, inequality, and the bureaucratic and judicial systems that have lost public trust and are now a widespread crisis of confidence.
She does not believe in change driven by a single person or a small group. Driving the country forward requires teamwork across all ministries, with leaders having firm political will, courageous decision-makers, and prioritizing the public interest above power, personal gain, or factionalism.
She firmly affirms her work stance is to reduce unnecessary power, close loopholes that enable corruption, reform the state system, and create transparent, fair, and truly accountable mechanisms for national administration by applying her experience in achieving goals together.
Thailand has little time left. Solving problems may require time and patience, but delaying action today will only increase the country’s costs in the future. She therefore applies to undertake this role sincerely, ready to work fully and take responsibility for all decisions made. If given the chance, this new employee will work to the best of her ability and kindly asks the public to consider and exercise their voting rights to jointly determine the country’s future. Please consider this when casting your vote.
