Gen. Rangsee Speaks in Bangkok, Promotes 5 Policies Before Announcing End to Political Color Divisions

Gen. Rangsee spoke at a Bangkok stage, promoting five policies from the Economic Party to revive the country, pushing for high-speed rail and the Ocean Link project. He ended the event by announcing the dissolution of political color divisions, calling to move beyond political conflict.

On 31 Jan 2026 GMT+7, at the Uthairat community, the Economic Party, led by Gen. Rangsee Kitiyanasap, the party leader, held a speech event in Bangkok. He declared the party's political stance centered on policies, emphasizing five key policies for urgent national recovery.

Gen. Rangsee stated that Thailand must take proactive steps in infrastructure, economy, and political transparency. The key policies include:

1. Elevate Thailand as a global logistics hub through a high-speed rail network connecting Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Malaysia, and Singapore, covering over 1.7 billion people.

2. Unlock marine potential by developing oceanfront agricultural industrial zones, attracting BRICS investment groups, aiming for an average income of $20,000 per person annually within 10 years.

3. Enact new anti-corruption laws to enhance transparency, imposing maximum penalties up to the death sentence, and enforcing judgments within one year after Supreme Court rulings.

4. Reform the justice system by separating arrests from investigations, breaking systemic crime cycles, and reducing economic barriers.

5. Immediately reduce electricity costs for all households, restructure energy pricing through PTT, prioritizing public benefit over profit, adjust petrochemical gas prices based on actual costs, and reform the state electricity enterprise to improve efficiency and save budget.

Additionally, Gen. Rangsee proposed mega projects including the Thai-Chinese high-speed rail and the Ocean Link connecting two oceans, emphasizing these as government-to-government investments with transparent profit sharing and no under-the-table payments, to drive both macro and micro economic growth.

At the event's conclusion, the party held a symbolic "dissolution of color divisions" activity, reflecting the intent to overcome political fragmentation and move towards policy-focused politics that genuinely reach the people.
