Pathum Thani is lively as people gradually come out to exercise their rights in "early voting" from early morning. The Pathum Thani Provincial Election Commission revealed that this year, over 110,000 people have registered for early voting. They advise the public to allow extra time for travel due to expected traffic.
On 1 Feb 2025 GMT+7, reporters observed that at the early voting site in the dome building of the Pathum Thani Vocational College, Bang Phun Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pathum Thani Province, there was a large and dense crowd of registered early voters waiting at the polling station area for the opening at 08:00. Officials were present to provide information to voters from various provinces for convenience. It was noted that over 13,000 people had registered for early voting at this location.
Ms. Sanga Ta-thong, Director of the Pathum Thani Provincial Election Commission Office, disclosed that in Pathum Thani Province, there are eight early voting stations. More than 110,000 people have registered for early voting. She urged voters planning to participate in early voting to plan their travel carefully to avoid traffic congestion.
Due to the large number of people traveling to vote early, those who cannot arrive in time may inform the polling station of their reasons for being late. However, they will not be allowed to vote again later. Therefore, the public is urged to plan their travel well to arrive within the voting hours, which are from 08:00 to 17:00 today.
