Chaiwut Leads Rakchat Party in City Pillar Shrine Ceremony, Calls on All Parties to Foster Patriotism

Chaiwut led the Rakchat Party team in a City Pillar Shrine ceremony for auspiciousness, calling in the final stretch on all parties to foster patriotism among the younger generation to safeguard the nation’s future.

At 07:00 on 1 Feb 2026 GMT+7 in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Chaiwut Thanakmanusorn, leader of the Rakchat Party (RCh) and prime ministerial candidate, led the RCh team and list MP candidates including Thitiphan Keyanont, party secretary-general; Chanin Pinthong, party director; Chaiyaporn Jirawinijanan, party spokesperson; and Thart Pojanaprapan, deputy party leader. They visited the Saturday-Sunday Market at Khukwang Development area, Nakhon Si Thammarat Municipality, Mueang District, riding a campaign vehicle and meeting local people to introduce their policies and list candidates. The atmosphere was lively with the song “Rakchat 35,” adapted from “Chef Ba,” playing.

At the same time, twin boys “Nong Kaitoon and Nong Kaitom,” who had previously taken a photo with Chaiwut when he was Minister of Digital Economy and Society, recognized him and approached to take photos again.

Afterwards, Chaiwut led the Rakchat Party team to the City Pillar Shrine of Nakhon Si Thammarat to perform a worship ceremony seeking auspiciousness for a smooth and successful campaign.

Chaiwut, in an interview during the final campaign phase, questioned political parties that often present ideas or sell dreams to young people, especially those popular among youth, on how they plan to instill patriotism, love of country, and sacrifice for the land in the younger generation. He invited all parties to cooperate, seeing that these young people will grow up to be Thais who take care of the nation. He emphasized that fostering patriotism is the responsibility of every political party.

Chaiwut added that pride in being Thai has not developed as it should; instead, these values are often belittled or viewed negatively. He called on groups he referred to as “doms,” “IO” (Information Operations), and “influencers” to stop such actions. He stressed that if a war or crisis truly occurs, it is the people who will defend and care for the country. Therefore, it is necessary to build a sense of patriotism. He urged these groups to understand this and help foster patriotism in every Thai heart rather than creating political division.

Chaiwut also emphasized that war is not distant but approaching and inevitable. The country is about to hand over its future to the younger generation, but these young people are being incited to discord, unpatriotism, and disunity. He questioned whether such youth will be able to care for and protect the country. He noted that society talks about rights and freedoms but neglects duties, patriotism, and communal care of the nation.

“Without land and country, there is no need to talk about rights or freedoms—they simply won’t exist, and we will all suffer across the land.” .
