2026 Election: The Election Commission has revealed that the "4-digit constituency code" appears on the envelope for advance voting outside the district. Central polling station officials are responsible for filling it out and have emphasized that voters should verify the information on the envelope and promptly report any inaccuracies for correction.
On 1 February 2026, after discrepancies were found in the 4-digit constituency code written on envelopes of advance voters, the Election Commission published the constituency codes printed on the ballot envelopes (form S.S.5/2). These codes correspond to the constituency codes listed in the registration database of voters who applied to cast their ballots before election day (advance voting).
The Election Commission has published the 4-digit constituency codes for all 400 constituencies nationwide. For example, in Bangkok, codes start with the number 1, and with 33 constituencies, they range from 1001 to 1033.

Regarding filling out the envelope, central polling station officials are responsible for writing the province name, constituency, and constituency code on the ballot envelope (form S.S.5/2) before handing over the ballot and envelope along with identification documents back to the voter to proceed to cast their vote in the polling booth.
However, voters are strongly urged to check the information on the ballot envelope (form S.S.5/2) to ensure that the province, constituency, and 4-digit constituency code match their voter registration details. If any information is incorrect, voters should inform the central polling station officials to have it corrected promptly. This ensures that the ballot envelope is properly sent back to the correct constituency. Note that advance voting within the constituency does not use a ballot envelope (form S.S.5/2).
