Pita urged Hat Yai residents to cast two orange ballots without dividing their support, sending Dr. Supat along with the nine-member Songkhla team across nine constituencies to vote for Theng Natthapong as prime minister, to form a people's government that will restore Hat Yai and develop Songkhla together.
On 1 February 2026 in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, campaign assistant for the People's Party, traveled to Songkhla to help campaign for Dr. Supat Hasuwannakit, candidate for MP of Songkhla Constituency 2, number 5, representing the People's Party.
Mr. Pita expressed gratitude to the locals who came to welcome him despite being informed only a day in advance. He expressed confidence in Dr. Supat as a systematic and methodical administrator and believed that once elected MP, he would be a key force in alleviating the suffering of the people of Hat Yai and Songkhla, just as Dr. Supat has cared for patients for over 30 years.
“I deeply empathize and understand because we have experienced political persecution before, especially at critical moments from political opponents known to have clear conflicts of interest. During the COVID crisis, a national emergency, it took courage to step up to save lives despite risks from an uncooperative bureaucracy. Dr. Supat was one of those courageous individuals.”
Mr. Pita stated his confidence in the legal and administrative teams of the people's government, which will strengthen efforts in both the short and long term. He assured the people of Songkhla that voting confidently for number 5, Dr. Supat, and all nine People's Party candidates across nine constituencies will elect Natthapong Rueangpanyawut as prime minister to form a people's government. They will work to reform bureaucracy so civil servants can work comfortably with the sole goal of serving the people.
In closing, Mr. Pita said that with only one week remaining, he urged the People's Party to be the final choice for the people of Hat Yai, Songkhla, and the South. On 8 February, mark two orange ballots to send Prime Minister Theng into government and establish the people's government.
