Kla Tham party mobilized a campaign rally to seek votes from Pathum Thani residents, aiming to raise a green flag across the entire province. 'Big Jazz' fired back at critics, stating he holds no grudge but wants to speak the truth. Thammanat noted that all Thai people love their country except those who harbor ill intentions toward the land of Thailand.
On 1 Feb 2026 at 18:30, at the Ginza Market plaza opposite Future Park Rangsit department store in Pathum Thani province, the Kla Tham party, led by Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat Prompao, party advisory chairman and prime minister candidate, along with Mrs. Narumon Phinyosinwat, party leader, and Police Lieutenant General Kamronwit Thupkrajang (Big Jazz), president of the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization, took the stage to campaign for all five Kla Tham candidates running for Pathum Thani MPs: District 1, Mr. Nopporn Khawkhum, number 2; District 2, Mr. Chaiyanan Siribenasan, number 9; District 4, Mr. Chayut Sinpoonphak, number 7; District 5, Ms. Airin Panrit, number 8; and District 6, Ms. Patchisa Pachiratarirat, number 4.
Mrs. Narumon said during her speech that this election is a critical turning point for the country. The party affirms a political approach based on honesty, avoiding conflict and attacks, instead offering concrete solutions to the people. She asked for the opportunity to work seriously on resolving livelihood problems.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat stated that Pathum Thani’s main problems are not minor but structural and accumulated: recurring floods, droughts at times, traffic congestion, and poor coordination between government agencies and local authorities. The party believes these require integrated solutions. Their strength lies in genuine cooperation with local governments. If their representatives are elected, they can coordinate budgets and policies more quickly on the ground to address drainage systems, waterways, and road networks linking communities to main urban centers.
“Kla Tham party’s goal is not just to win elections but to elevate the quality of life across the province in the long term, making Pathum Thani a city with a strong economy, ready infrastructure, and governance that meets the people’s needs.”
‘Big Jazz’ responds firmly to critics, stating he holds no grudge but wants to speak the truth.
Police Lieutenant General Kamronwit Thupkrajang, president of the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization and campaign assistant for Kla Tham’s MP candidates, spoke on stage addressing criticism from some political party events. He said he did not want to respond but many had asked, so he clarified about Mr. Natthawut Saiyakhue. Although they had a close relationship in the past, political rivals mentioned him in this way on stage. However, he emphasized he holds no grudge or anger, only wanting to explain the facts to the public. He also highlighted the value of friendship and politics being a competition based on achievements rather than words.
Regarding Chettawan Tueprakorn’s remarks about Air Force land near Thupatemi Golf Course, Police Lieutenant General Kamronwit explained that the proposal to use part of this area for establishing a primary medical center in the Khu Khot–Rangsit area was coordinated and submitted several years ago, even before that person became an MP. It aims to enhance health care capacity in densely populated communities. He emphasized the request is only for part of the land, not the entire area, and presented documents and a timeline confirming the idea began during his local government work amidst the COVID-19 crisis.
During the severe situation when Pathum Thani was at risk of flooding from northern water masses, Police Lieutenant General Kamronwit said local authorities had to work against time, coordinating many agencies to prevent impacts. Those who came to help included Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat Prompao, who, during the tense water situation, convened all parties to discuss and solve problems jointly with Bangkok authorities, accelerating water management mechanisms and reducing impacts locally. He stressed these actions reflect that Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat truly took hands-on action.
Thammanat points out that all Thai people love their country except those with ill intentions toward the land.
After the rally, Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat told reporters he was confident the party could firmly establish itself in Pathum Thani and would work alongside the excellent elder brother, Big Jazz. He noted Pathum Thani faces major water management challenges, including recurring floods and drought periods, as well as canal and drainage networks that require joint planning between central and local authorities. He said unified coordination would lead to more concrete problem-solving.
“Kla Tham’s strength lies in connecting national and local levels. If representatives are elected locally, they can help push budgets and policies down to the province more rapidly. This election is an opportunity to set Pathum Thani’s long-term development direction,” he emphasized.
When asked about the rise of patriotic rhetoric in the final campaign phase, Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat said all Thai people love the nation, religion, and monarchy, except those who harbor ill intentions toward the land.
‘Big Jazz’ credits ‘Thammanat’ for helping Pathum Thani through floods and crises.
Police Lieutenant General Kamronwit later told the media that during his first term as Pathum Thani PAO president, he faced COVID, disasters, floods, droughts, and dust pollution. No MPs from any party had assisted in solving these problems until Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat stepped in to help manage the province through the flood crisis. This is something he will never forget and is why he decided to join Kla Tham party, seeing their genuine commitment to problem-solving—not just fixing issues but also planning prevention rather than waiting for problems to occur and then providing relief.
“Pathum Thani province is advancing rapidly. Previously in 2023, there were seven MPs, but this year there are eight. Many new residents have moved in, so problems must be anticipated. Working together with Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat will surely help develop Pathum Thani for the better.”
