Teng Visits Buriram, Appeals for Constituency MPs – Chaitawat Declares No Orange Vote Means Blue Government Guaranteed

Nattapong visits Buriram, delivering a speech affirming that if the party forms the government, it will not disappoint. Sirikanya exposes groups crowding the People's Party, urging the public to mark both orange ballots. Chaitawat emphasizes that if the orange vote is not chosen, a blue government is guaranteed.

On 1 Feb 2026 at the riverside market in Buriram province, Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, prime ministerial candidate and leader of the People's Party, along with Mr. Wiroj Lakkhanaadisorn, party-list MP candidate; Mr. Kamphong Thepakham, party-list MP candidate; Mr. Piyarat Jatep, party-list MP candidate; Ms. Amarat Chokpamitkul, campaign assistant; Mr. Thawisak Thaksin, campaign assistant; and all 10 constituency MP candidates from Buriram province for the People's Party gathered for campaigning.

Mr. Nattapong said today he visited Buriram, a stronghold where many support the orange color. Reflecting on the 2023 election results, the People's Party ranked first in party-list votes. Last election, the people of Buriram decided they wanted change and a new style of politics, as presented by the Move Forward Party at that time, though with some hesitation. On 8 February, there are only two choices: one is to vote for the People's Party on both ballots to form a government together; the other is if voters remain undecided or divided, the old-style government may return.

"Last time, the people of Buriram gave us their support but it was insufficient. We need votes for all 10 constituency candidates in Buriram; otherwise, change will not happen. Even if people across the country overwhelmingly vote for the People's Party on the party-list ballot, we would only get about 100 MPs in parliament. Without voting for constituency MPs, no one will vote for the party leader to become prime minister."

"Teng Nattapong" assures that if the party forms government, it will not disappoint.

Mr. Nattapong added there are only seven days left and asked everyone to voice their wishes and good intentions. Do not fear change. The party does not seek to dismantle or overthrow; good values in the country will remain. Problems will be resolved and improved. Together, show strength and trust in the power of all people. Think of your children, grandchildren, family, village, and community. If you want a better family, community, and country, and a better Buriram, please vote for the People's Party on both ballots and approve the drafting of a new constitution. He pledged that if elected, the party will not disappoint and will do its best.

Mr. Nattapong continued that he believes in the love among the people, love for this nation, and love for all Thai citizens. He urged everyone to spread this goodwill. On 8 February, vote for change together and form a people's government together.

Sirikanya exposes groups crowding the People's Party, urges the public to mark both orange ballots.

Ms. Sirikanya Tansakul, prime ministerial candidate of the People's Party, along with Mr. Chaitawat Tulathan, campaign assistant, traveled with the northern right-side caravan of the party, known as the Kalin Kasalong line, to support constituency candidates in Nan province and held a large campaign rally there.

Ms. Sirikanya said this election requires every vote with no divided support for other parties because the People's Party needs as many votes as possible. In the 2023 election, many districts in Nan had very close results. This campaign received warm welcomes from local people who want a people's government.

"In this election, there will no longer be any senators selecting the prime minister. However, some groups are obstructing and crowding the People's Party. Therefore, we ask the people of Nan and across the country to support the People's Party as the sole government party. Besides voting for the People's Party on both ballots, please also help campaign for the People's Party."

Chaitawat points out that if orange is not chosen, a blue government is certain.

Meanwhile, Mr. Chaitawat delivered a speech stating that the People's Party's first-place ranking is not due to a trend but because it has proven itself since the Future Forward Party, then Move Forward, and now as the People's Party, by raising the quality of political work for the country and being honest with the people. He assured the voters that the three constituency candidates in Nan province will fully represent the people there. He believes Nan will be part of the orange power bringing change to Thai society. He asked voters in the final week to help make change undeniable and build the nation of the people by voting for the People's Party to form the orange government. He warned that failing to vote orange will result in a blue government.

"Lisa" says she heard vote buying offers of 5,000 baht per person, urging those who want change not to accept.

Meanwhile, at Narit Bridge in Mueang Surat Thani district, Surat Thani province, the People's Party held a large campaign rally with party leaders, MP candidates, and campaign assistants attending in full force, led by Mr. Sarayut Jailak, party secretary-general; Mr. Parit Watcharasin, party spokesperson; Mr. Phakmon Noon-anun, deputy spokesperson; and Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, campaign assistant.

Ms. Phakmon said that the orange caravan’s main effort is to build public trust and confidence. They know gaining trust and faith from the people is very difficult, so they work every day traveling nationwide to prove that their promises are genuine.

Regarding vote buying, she was asked if southern voters are politically aware. She confirmed they are, but she heard of vote buying offers of 5,000 baht per head. She did not know how to explain this to others, so she urged everyone who wants to elevate the country’s politics to start by refusing money. No one can force voters; inside the voting booth, it’s just you and your ballot. What you mark is your decision. People don’t need to bind themselves to any politician for decades.

Pita asks Surat Thani voters for both orange ballots, urging closer vote margins than Move Forward had.

Mr. Pita said that in the 2023 election, Surat Thani gave over 200,000 votes to the Move Forward Party, making it first in the province, though it did not win any constituency seats. Looking at district-level votes, some have a chance to win. So this time, he asks only that voters give both orange ballots, with party-list and constituency votes closer than the Move Forward results last time.

Rangsiman criticizes the Election Commission for irresponsibility; early voting still marred by fraud.

Mr. Rangsiman Rom, deputy party leader and party-list MP candidate of the People's Party, led a delegation to campaign at Duson Market in Khuan Don district, Satun province, as part of the southern "Binladong" caravan.

Mr. Rangsiman said that the country is facing many serious problems. The situation is so bad that even early voting was marred by fraud. The Election Commission received over 6 billion baht of public funds to organize this election. All we want is a fair election, but on voting day, people don’t know if they got the party they want. The commission has acted irresponsibly. This is an example showing that Thai politics and the country are facing a crisis caused by corrupt individuals preventing progress.

"Some parties claim Satun belongs to them, but after many governments, what have the people of Satun gained? The simple question is: what future do we want? Do we want the old style politics? Do we want Anutin as prime minister? If you liked the management of COVID or flood control in the past, vote for Anutin. If so, the next four years will be more of the same. This election is a bet for Thailand’s future, not just a change of government but a decision on whether Thai people will have the old or new future."
