Supachai affirms Bhumjaithai's readiness to support insured persons and agrees on the need to improve the Social Security Fund's operations. He insists the party must defend itself against allegations of being the source of corruption and says he is willing to listen if there is no intent to damage the party's reputation.
2 Feb 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Supachai Jaisamut, candidate for Member of Parliament (MP) on the party list and chairman of the legal working group of the Bhumjaithai Party, posted on Facebook regarding the case where Mr. Sattharam Thambutsadee, a faculty member at the Interdisciplinary College, Thammasat University, serving as a Social Security Committee member representing insured persons, admitted being afraid of a lawsuit from Bhumjaithai. Supachai stated, "Do not stir up protests. Bhumjaithai has no problem with insured persons and agrees that the Social Security Fund's operations must be improved for the maximum benefit of insured persons. During your two years on the Social Security board, there was an opportunity to make improvements if fully committed. Bhumjaithai is ready to join you in the fight for insured persons."
Supachai further said that the issue leading to possible legal action against Sattharam is the allegation that people in the Bhumjaithai Party are the source of corruption in the Social Security Fund. The party must protect itself from accusations without evidence. If there is evidence, Bhumjaithai is prepared to investigate and cooperate in legal action against the offenders.
"I affirm that you need not fear if what you say is true. Unless it is untrue, I am ready to listen. If there is no intent to harm Bhumjaithai's reputation, let's come to an understanding. The party will not press charges."
