The Pheu Thai Party spokesperson urged the Election Commission to promptly verify facts and build confidence in the election process after the advance voting on 1 February revealed multiple irregularities, including incomplete candidate lists posted at several central polling stations.
At 11:00 a.m. on 2 February 2026 GMT+7. Mr. Sukit Srichomkwan, spokesperson for the Pheu Thai Party and candidate for party-list MP, held a press conference regarding the observation of advance voting on 1 February, stating that observers were sent to 16 provinces covering 26 constituencies where voter registration for advance voting exceeded that of the 2023 election by more than 50 percent. Several concerns were noted that the Election Commission should urgently investigate, clarify the facts, and take corrective actions to prevent problems in the main election on 8 February 2026. There were many voters casting advance votes outside their constituencies but within the same province, creating a high risk of vote-buying at the local level. Additionally, there was inconsistency in the posting of notices at central polling stations.
Mr. Sukit further revealed that many central polling stations posted incomplete candidate lists (Form S.S. 4/14). For example, the name of Mr. Surachart Chanpradit, candidate for MP in Sisaket Constituency 2 from Pheu Thai, was missing from the Form S.S. 4/14 notice at the central polling station in Nakhon Pathom Province, Constituency 5. Discrepancies were also found in addressing the election envelopes (Form S.S. 5/2), especially in filling out constituency codes, thus he called on the Election Commission to promptly investigate the facts and implement measures to seriously prevent and resolve the identified issues to build confidence in the election process and protect the people's will to be conducted honestly and fairly. .
