Thammanat Reveals Kla Tham Party Finds No Issues with Advance Voting, Urges Public to Choose Parties with Realistic Policies

Thammanat revealed that the Kla Tham Party encountered no problems with advance voting. He urged voters to choose parties with policies that can be realistically implemented rather than selling dreams. He affirmed that the party will continue and improve upon initiatives that have pleased the public.

At 14:00 on 2 February 2026 GMT+7 Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, Advisory Chairman of the Kla Tham Party and prime ministerial candidate, gave an interview to Thairath TV regarding issues in advance voting. He said that the Kla Tham Party found no problems, believing that confusion is normal in advance voting, especially when many aspects differ from usual.

Regarding the Pheu Thai Party's suspicion about the unusually high voter turnout in Phayao Province, Thammanat explained that in non-urban districts, voters number in the hundreds. In urban areas, particularly around the University of Phayao, high turnout is normal because most students come from other provinces and vote early to avoid returning home.

When asked about heavy slander and vote-buying this time, Thammanat said it is the nature of politics. It is normal for parties to fiercely compete in the final stretch. The Kla Tham Party’s strategy in this final phase is to increase television appearances rather than holding rallies, as TV broadcasts reach audiences nationwide.

Thammanat also urged the public to choose parties with feasible policies. He said Kla Tham has clear policies, especially on water management and farmland use—initiatives already underway that will be further developed. This includes farmland land titles issued as real agricultural land deeds, with legislation already drafted. On debt issues, whether for farmers or teachers, the Kla Tham Party plans to establish a central cooperative to consolidate all debts and restructure them. Social welfare for vulnerable groups and development of secondary cities into primary cities are also key policies. All party policies are based on actions already implemented and appreciated by the public. Kla Tham will continue these efforts and improve them further. .
