Peoples Party Caravan Continues Campaigning as Doctor Ong and Chaitawat Rally Phayao Residents to Show Their Strength

The People's Party's eight caravan lines continue their final campaign drive. "Teng" rallies Ayutthaya, urging the entire province to be orange before a major speech with "Tim" in Suphanburi this evening. "Doctor Ong" and Chaitawat call on Phayao residents to show their strength on 8 February.

On 2 February 2026, the People's Party's eight election caravan lines continued for the fourth consecutive day. Since morning, each line campaigned to encourage citizens to vote on Sunday, 8 February. The southern upper line, "Southern Rain," led by Mr. Sarayut Jailuk, the party secretary-general, and Ms. Phakmon Nun-anun, the party deputy spokesperson, traveled to Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. They rode the campaign truck introducing candidates and inviting people to attend the major speech this evening at the city square, Mueang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The event will feature speeches by Mr. Weerayut Kanchuchat, the party deputy leader and third prime minister candidate, and Mr. Parit Watcharasinthu, the party spokesperson.

Ms. Phakmon stated that the emergence of the Future Forward Party, evolving into the Progressive Movement and the People's Party, aims to affirm that this country needs politics by ordinary people. Ordinary people means those of us who work hard, struggle, and fear being burdened by medical costs when sick. Ordinary people represent the majority of the country. We believe no one can represent ordinary people better than ordinary people themselves. Therefore, on 8 February, voters must mark both People's Party ballots to send representatives who are ordinary people like them to be their voice in parliament, and to vote Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut as the prime minister of a people's government.

Meanwhile, the southern lower caravan line "Bin Ladong," led by Mr. Rangsiman Rome, deputy party leader and party-list candidate, began campaigning early in Yala Province together with all three Yala constituency candidates. In the afternoon, they continued campaigning in Pattani Province with five constituency candidates. In the evening, the People's Party opened major rallies at Chang Yala Stadium in Yala and at the yard behind Pattani University in Pattani Province.

The eastern caravan line "Saltwater Child," led by Mr. Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, the People's Party campaign assistant, traveled to Chanthaburi Province to support all three constituency candidates. At one point, people followed Mr. Thanathorn as he campaigned, asking for photos and saying they wore orange raincoats to show support. Mr. Thanathorn thanked them and invited voters to mark both People's Party ballots, saying the party is ready to form a government to change Thailand.

The central caravan line "Rural Love Charm," led by Mr. Pichon Chaowaphatwong, party executive committee member, and Ms. Pannika Wanich, campaign assistant, traveled to Suphanburi Province to invite citizens to attend a major speech this evening at Wat Pa Lelai Kindergarten School grounds, Mueang District, Suphanburi. The event will feature Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut, party leader and prime minister candidate, along with Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, campaign assistant, delivering speeches.

Next, the northern right-side caravan "Fragrance of Kasalong," led by Mr. Decharat Sukkamned, deputy prime minister candidate, along with Mr. Chaitawat Tulathon and Mr. Padipat Santipada, campaign assistants, traveled to Phayao Province to support People's Party candidates. During campaigning, locals continuously showed support by offering food and drinks to the party team along the way.

Mr. Padipat expressed gratitude for the public's encouragement toward the People's Party. He believed Phayao residents love their province and would not allow any politician to own Phayao. He urged Phayao citizens to come out and show their strength on 8 February by marking both People's Party ballots to demonstrate to some politicians that the people are not anyone's possession. He emphasized that politicians’ duty is not to oppress citizens but to serve them.

Then, Mr. Chaitawat stressed that this election is very important for Thailand's future. He encouraged Phayao residents to vote for change by marking both People's Party ballots to bring transformation, removing the 'gray' color from Phayao and the country.

"Teng" rallied Ayutthaya, urging the entire province to turn orange by voting for both People's Party ballots.

Additional reports state that Mr. Natthapong campaigned to support People's Party candidates in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya at 4:00 p.m. at Bung Phra Ram Square (opposite Ayutthaya Wittayalai School). Ayutthaya has five constituencies, and the People's Party has candidates in all, including Mr. Tawiwong Totawiwong in Constituency 1, Mr. Charin Wongphantieng in Constituency 2, Mr. Weerayut Yaiwangna in Constituency 3, Ms. Pensiri Rak Pluemsuk in Constituency 4, and Ms. Pinnyaphat Pindej Sanesangkom in Constituency 5.

The atmosphere was lively with many citizens supporting Mr. Natthapong and the candidates. Mr. Natthapong thanked the public for their encouragement, saying their journey is getting closer to reality every day. Building people's politics, from the former Future Forward Party, the Progressive Movement, to the current People's Party, today is the best opportunity since there is no Senate vote for prime minister. This is the best chance to draft a new constitution to make elections transparent and improve the Election Commission's performance. He called for removing corrupt electoral systems and introducing transparent budgeting, citing the collapsed State Audit Office building incident where no one was held accountable, which should never happen again in Thailand.

Reflecting on the 2023 election, as party leader, he thanked all Ayutthaya residents for deciding to seek change by trusting their candidates in two constituencies. Although they have not yet turned the entire province orange, they have never retreated. They won the party-list vote last time. Therefore, in this election, he urged voters to decide again to change from old politics to new politics and jointly establish a people's government to run the country.

"Please mark both People's Party constituency ballots so the party can win all districts in the province and vote for me as Thailand's prime minister. Everyone must not underestimate the situation because on 1 February, we saw issues with early voting outside constituencies, including missing candidate brochures in many areas and Election Commission officials mistakenly saying our candidates were disqualified when they were still eligible. There are still 399 constituencies with eligible candidates. These incidents clearly show that the old power groups fear change. We affirm we do not want to uproot what is good in the country, but we stand against gray politics, corrupt politicians, and independent organizations not fulfilling their duties honestly. These are the issues we must improve, and we will preserve what is good in the country."

The party leader added that those claiming to love the nation but whose actions are contrary, continuing to corrupt Thailand, cannot truly love the nation. He called on everyone to prove their patriotism by voting for both People's Party ballots. They want all five Ayutthaya constituencies so that the voices from Ayutthaya will name him as Thailand's 33rd prime minister. This time, everyone must help spread the word and go out to vote on 8 February to change the country together. Thailand must be better, not gray, must be equitable, and keep pace with the world. He promised to return and develop Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province for the better.
