The 2026 election is scheduled for 8 Feb 2026 Thairath Online urges Thai citizens to exercise their right to vote for MPs and participate in the referendum from 08:00 to 17:00 at their local polling stations registered in their household records.
In the 2026 election, voters will receive a total of three ballots to elect members of the House of Representatives (MPs) and to vote in the referendum. Each ballot differs in color and purpose as follows.
1. The green ballot for the 2026 election: Constituency MP
Used to vote for an MP by marking a cross next to one candidate in their electoral district only (voters must remember the candidate’s number in their district).
2. The pink ballot for the 2026 election: Party-list MP
Used to vote for party-list MPs by marking a cross next to the political party you wish to support, selecting only one party (voters must remember the party’s number).
3. The yellow ballot for the 2026 election: Referendum vote
Used to vote in the referendum on the question “Do you approve of having a new constitution?” Voters may mark only one option: approve, disapprove, or no opinion.
