Yotsanan campaigned vigorously in Sisaket, appealing to Rasi Salai residents to vote for Pheu Thai candidates across all 9 districts. Meanwhile, Natthawut delivered a fiery speech, offering a spicy cobra stir-fry as a jab at a former MP who favored shallots but suddenly slithered to the Blue Party, only to be ultimately rejected by voters.
At 09:00 on 4 Feb 2026 GMT+7, at the sand dock of Phuyai Heng's house in Don Ngu Lueam village, Rasi Salai District, Sisaket Province, Yotsanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, arrived to campaign for Naruechit Charuratchakul, candidate for Sisaket District 9, number 10. This district was previously represented by Nuchanat Charuwongsathien, formerly a Pheu Thai MP who switched to the Bhumjaithai Party. However, due to overlapping candidate issues—Bhumjaithai nominated Witwat Traisornkul in this district—Nuchanat had to run under the Kla Tham Party instead.
The rally atmosphere was lively, with crowds filling the area to hear the speeches. Upon Yotsanan's arrival, people cheered loudly, presented flowers in encouragement, and offered garlands made of marigolds, shallots, garlic, and cucumbers.
Yotsanan took the stage, greeting, "Hello to all people of Sisaket. To become a high-income country, everyone must have higher income. Today, Pheu Thai never forgets that we come from grassroots, from farmers, from parents and siblings. In just two days, there will be a new dimension of change in Thailand. Please support Pheu Thai."
He continued, "Today, Sisaket has many strengths. We are a city of culture, agriculture, and various medicinal plants. With our hands, my hands, and everyone's hands, we will move forward together. Sisaket must have a better quality of life. On 8 February, I and all candidates will turn the dreams and hopes of our parents and people of Sisaket into reality. Many currently cannot stand up due to economic and debt problems. Our first step is to help people stand again by addressing the root causes, not just the surface. We will immediately implement comprehensive debt relief for farmers. Our shallots here are the best; the whole world must know our shallots. Through community enterprises and processing into essential oils and cold remedies, we add value. Each candidate will work with locals on community enterprises and processing. I will oversee budgets to support this properly. This is important; if we don't do it well, it remains just talk. We need government agencies and budgets. We are a political party capable of fundraising and will use funds to support the people here."
"We have fought for democracy continuously. Since the Thai Rak Thai Party era, we have made policies, initiated projects, and reached out to all parents and people because our policies look forward but never forget the people. Today, our spirit remains the same, even after multiple party dissolutions. Pheu Thai's heart is the people. What I say may sound difficult, but we can do it. Competition is fierce. I ask for your support in District 9, number 10. Please help me get Naruechit into Parliament, and also support Pheu Thai number 9—vote for both candidate and party."
Natthawut Saiyako, Pheu Thai's campaign assistant, said in a speech, "This morning, if anyone hasn't eaten, I'll serve spicy cobra stir-fry. I don't know why, but I've come twice to Rasi Salai and the MP changes every time, even though people vote for Pheu Thai. In 2019, they voted Pheu Thai; in 2023, they voted Pheu Thai. Last time I campaigned for the female Pheu Thai candidate in 2023. Now they say Pheu Thai is defending the championship here. Why has it changed so much? The old MP is gone. I asked locals where the old MP went, and they said he has left us without farewells or respect. This kind of departure means only one thing: vote Pheu Thai on both ballots. Me, Ajarn Chen, and Head Chulphan have been campaigning, hoarse from calling to vote Pheu Thai. I just heard here that a candidate from another party is campaigning for Pheu Thai by telling people to vote for number 9 on both ballots. If you want to go, go, but don't steal the vote like this. Pheu Thai number 9 is pink ballot only; the green ballot must go to number 10. Please vote for number 10."
. "When they were in Pheu Thai, they always spoke up in the party and debated in Parliament about shallots, shallots, shallots. But after a while, they started courting the Blue Party. I don't know what karma this is. They talked about shallots all day, but once they courted the Blue Party, the shallot scent disappeared. After courting the Blue Party, they were praised and admired, then discarded. This time they have to eat flour. They underestimated the people of Rasi Salai. I will show you that the people here see through it. They decide how to vote: green ballot number 10 and pink ballot number 9 to bring Pheu Thai in."
He emphasized that the people's hardships cannot wait for talented leaders; the time for attacks is over and reconciliation is needed.
At 10:45 at the Sisaket United football training ground, Yotsanan and his team arrived to support Thanet Khruearat, Pheu Thai candidate for Sisaket District 1 number 3, and Surachart Chanpradit, candidate for District 2 number 2, in their campaigns.
In his speech, he said, "Today, Ajarn Chen reports to the parents and people of Sisaket. This is a warmth and feeling never experienced before. Today is the last day I will campaign in each province. This is a milestone chosen because I want to meet the parents and people of Sisaket who have supported Pheu Thai. Today, I pay respect here. We have fought together for a long time. No matter what happens to Pheu Thai, no matter how many times we fall, and though some say we are gone, fatigue is natural. But today, we are not alone in the fight. We have proven that the people are back with us. Can all 9 districts of Sisaket be fully Pheu Thai?"
Yotsanan said, "Today I come fully prepared with flashing lights for the parents and people. Sisaket has many issues that need overhauling. Believe it or not, this is Sisaket's vision: innovation, agriculture, historical tourism, culture, transportation, and trade. But this cannot happen if people do not have a better quality of life. On 8 February, I am ready to turn hopes and dreams into reality."
He continued, "Regarding Pheu Thai's water management plan, many say there is no flood or drought. Ask again how and where the money comes from to help the people. Our water management plan has been ready for almost 10 years, and we will start immediately. We tried once 10 years ago during my candidacy but it was not continued. No matter the rising costs, we understand that floods and droughts have long affected our people but can be changed. I will do this for the parents of Sisaket. Another issue is water management nationwide; the Royal Irrigation Department only supplies water but does not manage floods or droughts. We need a responsible agency. This means restructuring water management from the watershed and reforestation. This is what a Pheu Thai government will give the people of Sisaket. Not everyone can say this without funds, but we will raise money. Without funds, necessary projects cannot be done. Pheu Thai is ready to fundraise and care for the people of Sisaket thoroughly."
Yotsanan said, "Standing here in Sisaket, I must speak with honor and dignity as a Thai. Sovereignty must be preserved and peace maintained for our people. I will do my best for the people of all 7 provinces. I, Yotsanan, will serve our Thai people."
Regarding education, he said, "I have visited many northeastern provinces. People told me there is inequality and a lack of respect compared to Bangkok. What we must do is decentralize power from the central government to the Northeast, allowing provinces to manage their own budgets. Strong provinces should handle their budgets independently. I emphasize again reducing state power, returning power to the people, and preventing exploitation. Misuse of state power is wrong and harmful. Pheu Thai stands with the people and opposes all forms of corruption. Public funds must be returned to the people."
He added, "People ask why a digital government is better: because it is free of under-the-table dealings. Many capable people from various countries have helped develop this. We don't have to be experts in everything; unity lets us bring in talent to act. The people's hardships cannot wait for talented leaders to emerge; we must act now. Can you help? Today, I sincerely communicate policies to the people. The time for mutual attacks is over. Thailand needs reconciliation and peace again. I do not want this election to cause despair, division, and conflict. I ask the people to help us bring all 9 districts of Sisaket to Pheu Thai."
It was reported that this rally location is only 2 kilometers from the Bhumjaithai Party's main rally stage, and the speeches began at nearly the same time.
