CK Cheong Confirms Cooperation with Election Commission over Grandmother Vote-Buying Allegations, Clarifies Post Deletion

CK Cheong revealed that the Election Commission has called to discuss the issue of his grandmother allegedly being involved in vote-buying. He confirmed his readiness to cooperate and hopes authorities will be able to suppress it. He explained that he deleted the post because his grandmother was upset, not to escape controversy.

On 5 February 2026, CK Cheong, a businessman and influencer who is CEO of the Fastwork platform, posted on Facebook about the 2026 election vote-buying issue: "I have been very shocked over the past couple of days. Many people and pages have accused me of having criminal cases in the U.S., including sexual harassment allegations. Some said I cheated foreigners out of money, that there is a warrant for my arrest in the U.S., and that I fled to Thailand. So I sincerely invite everyone to help investigate and dig deeper because I also want to know where these accusations come from. Please help. And to those making baseless accusations, provide evidence. If you can't, you’re worthless—because my followers support you, so don’t disappoint them. Regarding the Election Commission summoning me, I just spoke with their officials a moment ago. I must say it’s a great honor and I’m extremely willing to cooperate, hoping my information will help suppress vote-buying in the country. But as for my grandmother... she is mad at me now."

If my grandmother is reading this, CK will buy a new TV and iPad for her—maybe several devices.

And everyone, don’t forget to exercise your right to vote on 8 February. Cheers.

Additionally, CK Cheong commented under his own post about deleting the original post that alleged his grandmother received money for vote-buying, saying: "I deleted the post not because of drama, but because my grandmother was upset."
