Thai Sang Thai Stakes Its Claim in Isan: Sudarat Campaigns, Declares 3,000 Baht Pension a True Economic Cyclone

The Thai Sang Thai Party is campaigning intensively in Isan during the final stretch before the 2026 election. Sudarat declared that the 3,000 baht pension is not just welfare but a foundation for a new economy built on four key dimensions. She boasted that the party had already succeeded with the 30 Baht Universal Health Care policy.

5 February 2026 GMT+7 Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, leader of the Thai Sang Thai Party and its prime ministerial candidate, led the "3,000 Baht Pension Caravan" to Roi Et province, where she opened a major campaign rally attended by a large crowd of welcoming citizens. She then continued to make an impact in Udon Thani, Nong Bua Lamphu, Nong Khai, and ended in Khon Kaen province. Khunying Sudarat also unveiled a mock-up pension card, the "3,000 Baht Citizen Pension" card, as a social contract promising that if Thai Sang Thai is entrusted with governing the country, it will implement this policy successfully within six months.

In one part of her speech, Khunying Sudarat said she had previously successfully implemented the 30 Baht Universal Health Care policy. Today, she wants to build on that success by introducing the 3,000 baht citizen pension to ensure elderly people live with dignity. This policy is not just welfare but a foundation for a new economy based on four main dimensions:

1. Income dimension: Transforming the "old-age allowance" into a "pension" to improve quality of life and dignity, rewarding elderly citizens who have long contributed good deeds to the nation.

2. Health dimension: Pension recipients must enter health promotion programs to stay strong, reduce illnesses, and decrease long-term public health budget burdens.

3. Family dimension: Helping reduce the financial burden on working-age people, enabling the younger generation to become financially independent more quickly.

4. Economic dimension: The 3,000 baht will act as a genuine "economic cyclone," as it will be immediately spent in local shops and fresh markets within communities, stimulating economic multipliers at the grassroots level nationwide.

Khunying Sudarat added that after completing their mission in Roi Et, the Thai Sang Thai caravan will speedily continue to Udon Thani, Nong Bua Lamphu, and Nong Khai to communicate readiness to manage budgets efficiently and corruption-free, focusing on sustainable poverty alleviation instead of temporary handouts. The party invites Isan residents to make history on 8 February by voting for Thai Sang Thai, pink ballot number 48, to restore quality of life to the elderly and all Thai descendants.
