He pointed out a strong public demand for the 'Half-Half Plus' program to be relaunched for phase 2.
At 08:00 on 5 February 2026, leaders of the Bhumjaithai Party, led by Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, the party’s campaign assistant, Ms. Supamas Isarapakdee, the campaign commander for Bangkok, Mr. Ekanat Phromphan, another Bangkok campaign commander, and Mr. Anucha Burapachaisri, the party list member of parliament candidate, canvassed support for Mr. Pradermchai Boonchuaylue, the candidate for Bangkok’s Huai Khwang-Wang Thonglang district. They met with the public at Muang Thai Phat Market. The atmosphere was lively with many people requesting photos. Vendors praised the 'Half-Half Plus' program for boosting the economy and expressed their desire for an immediate continuation of phase 2.
Mr. Ekniti said in an interview about today’s campaign that public feedback clearly shows strong support for the 'Half-Half Plus' program. Citizens want to reduce expenses, and vendors want to increase sales. The inclusion of food delivery services has helped online sales grow, providing sustainable income. This is the core of the 'Half-Half Plus' program. Additionally, the positive reception for candidate Mr. Pradermchai, a known and active local worker, remains very strong.
“Besides promoting our candidate, we want to present the Bhumjaithai Party’s policies aimed at helping Thai people improve their quality of life, which is the party’s main focus,” he added.
