
Natchanon Chanabunrasak brought evidence of vote-buying at a military camp, paying 500 baht per person, in Phitsanulok District 1 to the Election Commission, and called on people not to buy or sell their voting rights.
On the afternoon of 5 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Natchanon Chanabunrasak, a candidate for Phitsanulok District 1 MP, posted on Facebook that earlier that morning, he received reports from residents about vote-buying by some candidates in Phitsanulok District 1 around a military camp and nearby communities, at 500 baht per person. He said he had received evidence and would not ignore it. He planned to present the evidence to the Phitsanulok Election Commission that afternoon. He also invited the people of Phitsanulok to campaign against buying and selling votes, encouraging anyone opposed to such actions to collect evidence and report tips to the provincial Election Commission or send them directly to him.
