Worachai Urges Election Commission to Quickly Fix Missing Candidate Names on Voting Booth Posters for Pheu Thai

Worachai Hema complains that several voting booth posters lack the name of the Pheu Thai candidate for Samut Prakan's 5th constituency. He urges the Election Commission to promptly fix the issue before election day.

On 6 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Worachai Hema, former MP of Samut Prakan from the Pheu Thai Party and a campaign assistant for the party, revealed irregularities in the 5th electoral district of Samut Prakan province. He found that at several voting booths, posters displaying the names of parliamentary candidates did not include Mr. Piyapong Hema, the Pheu Thai candidate. He called on the Election Commission (EC) to urgently address this issue, as the election day is only a few days away. Given the significant budget involved, such errors should not occur. Not announcing all candidates’ names for voters to consider is a major mistake, not a minor issue. The EC should act swiftly to ensure this election is transparent and fair to all parties, preventing problems after the election.
