At 20:40 on 6 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Anutin Chanweerakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, was interviewed after his final major campaign speech regarding his statement that the party would double in size and hopes to win 150 seats. When asked to confirm, Anutin laughed and said, "I think it will be more than double."
Regarding his statement about avoiding political rhetoric, Anutin said the party aims to communicate continuously with the public to clearly convey its intentions and policies. He wanted to reassure citizens that if elected, the party would focus on policies, personnel, and be fully prepared to coordinate with all sides to ensure smooth governance.
When asked why there was no mention of anti-corruption policies in the speech, Anutin simply responded that if Bhumjaithai becomes the government, there will be no risk of corruption.
On whether the party can cooperate with all parties to form a government, Anutin said they can work with any party if they share the same direction and mutual respect. He added that Bhumjaithai is the only party willing to accept policies from all parties, but emphasized that any policy causing clear division will not be accepted.
When asked if he was confident about gathering enough votes in parliament, Anutin said to wait just 48 hours and he would provide an answer.
