Anutin campaigned early on the final day at Teochew Health Park, demonstrating his badminton skills before joining a tea session, with locals wishing him success to serve as prime minister for another 8 years.
At 06:50 on 7 Feb 2026 GMT+7 at Teochew Health Park, Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party and prime ministerial candidate, campaigned for Patcharin Samsiriphong, candidate for Bangkok MP District 2, on the last day before the 8 Feb election. He was accompanied by list MP candidate Supamas Isarapakdi, the Bangkok election campaign leader, along with MPs Warawut Silpa-archa, Kriangsak Sudlapha, Piccharat Laopongchana, and Anucha Burapachaisri, all list MP candidates, who joined the campaign.
Upon arrival, an elderly man exercising welcomed Anutin by singing a hometown song. Anutin greeted him and clapped along to the rhythm, while the man raised his fist in a fighting gesture and gave a thumbs-up, saying: "You're already excellent, Prime Minister. We understand you and what you are doing is right. Keep fighting, do it for the country."
Afterward, Anutin greeted people exercising, mostly of Teochew Chinese descent. He greeted them in Chinese, and at one point, a local told him: "You will definitely form the government and we hope you become prime minister again." Anutin also met an old classmate from Assumption School who said his entire family would vote for Bhumjaithai. Locals also mentioned, "Our family factory employs 200 people, all ready to vote for Bhumjaithai."
When asked if this was a key target group, Anutin replied, "I grew up around here."
While walking, Anutin met a person reading the Dong Hua newspaper, a daily Chinese-language paper, featuring a photo of Anutin campaigning in Nakhon Phanom. He read the headline: "If you choose Anutin, there will be no poverty." He then wished good health in Chinese and said, "Please vote for 'Sa Jap Chik' (number 37)."
At one point, locals asked Anutin to "close the border," pledging to vote for number 37 to support him in border security and as prime minister. Anutin said, "As prime minister, I cannot say much, but I'm already working on it." He also played badminton with locals for fun before they wished him: "Success in continuing as prime minister."
Later, Anutin joined a tea session with elderly people who invited him to sit together. They said, "We want you to continue as prime minister because we don't want Cambodians; I'll move countries otherwise. The three people you sent to work here showed results in just a few months, seeing everything clearly. We hope you serve for 8 years; after 4 years, if results are good, continue." Some also said, "We hope you can lead a single party."
Before leaving Teochew Health Park, locals asked for the 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' program to continue. Anutin said, "Definitely 100%."
He then proceeded to board a campaign vehicle to support candidates in Huai Khwang and Wang Thonglang districts.
At 08:40, Anutin visited Pracharat Bamphen 24 Market to campaign for Pradermchai Boonchuayluang, Bhumjaithai candidate for Bangkok MP District Huai Khwang-Wang Thonglang, number 4, accompanied by Sihasak Puangketkaew, Bhumjaithai's second prime ministerial candidate, who also joined the campaign.
Locals asked to take photos, and Anutin made a 'plus' hand gesture. When asked about border openings, he replied no. He stopped at a dessert cart to buy four cups of mixed sweets. While campaigning, locals in passing cars wished him success and said they would vote for Bhumjaithai. He also visited a bakery, acting as a reviewer recommending excellent bread.
Later, Anutin stopped at a dry-cleaning shop and asked if it was a family business; he said he once dreamed of running such a business. Before boarding the campaign vehicle, locals presented him with a Guan Yu calendar as a souvenir, which he held up as he got on the vehicle.
During the campaign vehicle procession, Anutin encountered a People's Party candidate's campaign vehicle greeting him with "Hello, Prime Minister."
Reporters noted that while riding the campaign vehicle, Anutin asked for votes and hoped to return as prime minister. On the route, a People's Party candidate from Wang Thonglang district passed in the opposite direction, greeting "Hello, Prime Minister," to which Anutin smiled and responded. He then walked through the morning market at Soi Phum Urai, greeting locals, many of whom encouraged his governance of the country.
