“Yotsanan” Leads Pheu Thai Candidates in Pak Nam Campaign Parade, Gen Z Group Follows to Take Photos, Then Pays Respects to Luang Pho To

“Yotsanan” leads Pheu Thai MP candidates in a campaign parade in Pak Nam, with a Gen Z group driving alongside to take photos before paying respects to Luang Pho To.  The Gen Z group follows closely to capture images during the event.

At 09:00 on 7 Feb 2026 GMT+7, in Samut Prakan Province, Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai’s prime ministerial candidate, accompanied by Mr. Julphan Amornwiwat, party leader and also a prime ministerial candidate, Mr. Worachai Muea, Pheu Thai campaign assistant, and Samut Prakan MP candidates arrived at the Samut Prakan City Observation Tower. They boarded a parade vehicle to proceed to pay respects at the Samut Prakan City Pillar Shrine. Along the route, residents waved hands in greeting. A group of Gen Z youths on motorcycles rode alongside the parade vehicle to take photos and wave at Mr. Yotsanan. After disembarking, Mr. Yotsanan walked through a market where a vendor complimented him, saying, “You’re so handsome, may I shake your hand?”

The parade then arrived at the Samut Prakan City Pillar Shrine. Mr. Yotsanan, party leaders, and Samut Prakan candidates paid respects to the sacred site. Crowds awaited to welcome them, presenting flowers, hand-dyed fabric garlands, Bang Bo salted fish, dried shrimp from Phra Samut Chedi, and Khanom Jak, a local delicacy of Samut Prakan Province. Afterwards, they traveled to Bang Phli Yai Temple to pay respects to Luang Pho To. At 10:30, the group arrived at Bang Phli Yai Temple, where locals awaited with marigold garlands before the group ascended to pay homage to Luang Pho To.

Campaigning continues throughout Bangkok in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, Mr. Yotsanan will lead the campaign parade through inner Bangkok, starting from Hua Lamphong Station to Banthat Thong, passing Yommarat, the Government House, Ratchadamnoen Road, and the Democracy Monument. The day’s campaign will conclude with a parade at Soi Seri Thai 13 in Khan Na Yao District to support Mr. Phonphum Wipatipumprat, candidate for Bangkok’s 15th MP constituency, before campaign activities end by evening.
