“Teng Nattapong, Weerayut, Pita, and Mai” joined forces for the final campaign push, touring Bangkok by caravan, appealing to fellow citizens to cast both orange ballots. Passing the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, they joked, “Even if you’re with Bhumjaithai, you can still choose the People’s Party.” Meanwhile, the orange faction gathered in large numbers to listen to speeches at Ladprao Intersection.
On 7 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, the first prime ministerial candidate and leader of the People’s Party; Ms. Sirikanya Tansakul, second prime ministerial candidate and deputy party leader; Mr. Weerayut Kanchuchat, third prime ministerial candidate and deputy party leader; together with Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, the party’s campaign assistant and list MP candidate, as well as candidates for Bangkok MPs, boarded campaign caravans divided into two groups to meet citizens across Bangkok on the final day of campaigning before the election.
The People’s Party caravan was divided into two groups: the “Before Dawn” and the “Flag of Victory” lines, each meeting citizens throughout Bangkok. The “Before Dawn” caravan traveled from Thonburi to inner Bangkok, running from Kanchanaphisek Road (Western Ring Road), through Kanlapaphruek Road to Borommaratchachonnani Road, stopping at Thonburi fresh market, then on Phran Nok–Phutthamonthon Sai 4 Road, continuing to Yaowarat, eventually joining the other caravan at Ladprao Intersection.
The “Before Dawn” caravan was led by Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, Mr. Weerayut Kanchuchat, accompanied by Mr. Tae Phiphop Limjitrakorn, candidate for Bangkok MP district 33; Mr. Natcha Boonchai-insawat, list MP candidate; Mr. Woraphop Viriyaroj, list MP candidate of the People’s Party; along with other Bangkok MP candidates.
The “Flag of Victory” caravan toured northern and eastern Bangkok, led by Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, the People’s Party campaign assistant and former Move Forward Party leader, along with list MP candidates such as Mr. Isariya Paireepairit and Mr. Chayaphol Sathondee, candidate for Bangkok MP district 8. The route ran from Chalong Krung Road to Liab Wari Road, Minburi Market, Ramindra Road, AC Sai Mai Market, continuing to Kaset Intersection, Ratchayothin Intersection, then joining the “Before Dawn” caravan at Ladprao Intersection.
As the caravans moved along the roads to meet citizens, people warmly welcomed them by taking photos, waving hands, and greeting the convoy continuously along the way. In front of Central Ladprao, crowds of citizens gathered densely both in front of the mall and at the nearby BTS station around Ladprao Intersection.
While the caravans were on the road meeting citizens, Mr. Nattapong urged fellow citizens to exercise their voting rights, encouraging them to mark both ballots for the People’s Party without hesitation, to establish a People’s government that genuinely cares for the public. “On 8 February, mark to change.”
Mr. Weerayut said this is a crucial opportunity in 30 years. If people do not want to remain stuck in a futureless present, they can choose change—for the future of themselves and their children—to improve quality of life and cast off patronage politics that have held Thailand back in the past.
Mr. Pita said the next day, 8 February, polling stations will be open from 8:00 to 17:00. He urged everyone to vote early and to mark both People’s Party ballots. He also reminded voters to approve the referendum to open the door to drafting a new constitution. He asked citizens to volunteer as election observers after polls close at 17:00 during ballot counting to ensure transparency. He called on people to spread the word and vote overwhelmingly for the People’s Party.
Reporters noted that at 14:15 GMT+7, while Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, was preparing to hold a press conference to thank the public and encourage voting, the People’s Party campaign convoy, led by Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, was giving speeches urging citizens to exercise their voting rights.
As the convoy passed in front of the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters on Phahonyothin Road, Mr. Pichan Chaowaphatwanwong, People’s Party list MP candidate, joked, “Greetings to Bhumjaithai Party—being with Bhumjaithai, you can still choose the People’s Party.”
Mr. Pita then turned to thank the media for being a beacon for society. When asked if he had a message for Bhumjaithai Party, he pointed to the People’s Party campaign sign posted beside Bhumjaithai’s headquarters, which read, “We have orange, no gray; we have us, no scammers.” He called for a full competition, leaving the decision to the people, urging the top party to form the government. He invited citizens to vote and allow the leading party to establish the government.
When asked if he had a message for Mr. Anutin, Mr. Pita replied cheerfully that he had no message for him but asked citizens to vote overwhelmingly for the People’s Party.
Later, at 16:10 GMT+7, Mr. Nattapong, Mr. Pita, Ms. Sirikanya, and Mr. Weerayut held a smaller speech session in front of Central Ladprao department store, urging citizens to vote for both People’s Party ballots to change, as well as approve the referendum, to send Mr. Nattapong to become prime minister. Reporters noted large crowds gathered to listen, filling the area in front of the mall and the BTS Ladprao station. The leaders said more people came than in 2023, with chants of “Prime Minister Teng.” Mr. Nattapong asked citizens to vote overwhelmingly—20 million votes—and promised to work hard like an ox if the People’s government is established. He concluded, “Ti also loves orange.” Ti also loves orange too.
