Rakchat Party Holds Ganesha Shrine Ceremony to Seek Blessings for Success

"Chaiwut and Jes" led the Rakchat team on a parade around Bangkok to seek votes on the final day of campaigning, after performing a Ganesha shrine ceremony to open the party headquarters. They reaffirmed their stance to pursue change without causing division and disunity in the country.

At 07:19 on 7 Feb 2026 at the Rakchat Party (RCP) headquarters, Mr. Chaiwut Thanakmanusorn, party leader and prime ministerial candidate, along with Mr. Jes Tonawanik, also a prime ministerial candidate, party executives, and parliamentary candidates, conducted a Ganesha shrine ceremony to open the party's office. They prayed for success and the removal of all obstacles. Mr. Chaiwut spoke about Thailand's political direction before the election, saying that the younger generation represented by the RCP wants to change politics—not to block change but to help the country move forward securely and safely, allowing the people to live happily without division.

Later at 14:00, Mr. Chaiwut, accompanied by Mr. Jes and the Rakchat team including constituency and party-list candidates and party executives, boarded a parade vehicle touring Bangkok to campaign and introduce the 23 parliamentary candidates in Bangkok and the party. The procession started from the Rakchat office on Soi Ladprao 18, moving all the way to Bang Kapi Market in Bueng Kum district, which is the constituency of Mr. Thitiphat Chan-kaew, candidate for Bangkok constituency 13. The parade then looped back to Huai Khwang district, along Ratchada Road, continuing to Din Daeng district and Victory Monument.

The parade then entered Phra Nakhon district, the economic area around Yaowarat Road, where members of the public came out to greet and talk with the team. They praised Mr. Jes for deciding to run as the Rakchat prime ministerial candidate and emphasized that today the most important thing is that “Thai people must love the nation.” They noted that the country has suffered enough division in the past. If Thai people love the nation and the land and unite harmoniously, problems will not arise. They urged not to allow foreigners or anyone else to manipulate them.

Afterward, the Rakchat team proceeded by parade vehicle to Thonburi Fresh Market to meet and greet citizens and merchants in the area, which is the constituency of Mr. Sirames Sukkulworachet, candidate for Bangkok constituency 31.

The atmosphere was very positive, with people on both sides of the road waving and greeting the parade as it passed.

Mr. Jes expressed gratitude to the public for their continuous support of the party. He explained that the dance activities presented by Rakchat aim to communicate cultural arts to engage the public and simultaneously serve as a channel to present the party's policies. These integrate cultural arts with key policy issues such as helping small-scale people, access to funding sources, supporting institutions and academies to promote Thai youth on international stages, eliminating bribery, managing scammers, and solving problems of fraud, corruption, and societal ills.

He added that the word 'Rakchat' (love the nation) should not be just empty words but a collective effort to sustain Thai culture alongside advancing the future with artificial intelligence (AI) and modern technology. This must be built on a solid foundation to effectively lead the country forward while preserving the nation, religion, and monarchy.
