"Dr. Ae" condemns repeated crane collapses in Asoke and demands the enactment of a Safety Act, insisting that Thai people must not die in vain.
On 7 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Suchatvee Suwanasawat, leader of the Thai Khao Mai Party, expressed serious concern over a construction crane collapse in the Asoke area that left two workers critically injured. He stated this is unacceptable, as such accidents occur almost daily, and this time it happened in the city center during a holiday. He warned that if it had been more severe, it could have caused massive loss of life.
Mr. Suchatvee reaffirmed the Thai Khao Mai Party's key position that it is time for Thailand to enact a Public Safety Act to establish a central agency as the main authority responsible for oversight and direct accountability. He emphasized that wrongdoers should no longer be allowed to evade responsibility as they have in the past. He pledged to fight relentlessly so that Thai people no longer face such risks or die in vain.
