Thammanat, accompanied by his family, voted in Phayao. He revealed that he woke up at 3 a.m. feeling very excited and invited citizens to exercise their voting rights because every vote counts. Meanwhile, "Ajarn Maem" voted in Khan Na Yao district, Bangkok, asserting she would try her best to perform well at her duty.
At 10:25 a.m. on 8 February 2026, at polling station 15, constituency 1, Ban Nong Ha, Ban Tom subdistrict, Mueang district, Phayao province, Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat Prompao, prime ministerial candidate and chief advisor of the Kla Tham Party, arrived accompanied by his wife and son. He dressed casually in a green polo shirt layered with a green jacket and proceeded to cast his vote as a registered voter in Phayao before entering the voting booth immediately.
After voting, Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat spoke to the media, admitting that as a politician coming to vote today, he felt very excited. He said he woke up at 3 a.m. and could not sleep due to the excitement about exercising his voting rights.
He also remarked that from the 2023 election to this year, 2026, just over two years have passed quickly. As a politician, he felt that the government did not complete its full term, which made him feel the country had not been sufficiently developed nor had the people been adequately helped.
Therefore, on this election day, he invited citizens eligible to vote, both in Phayao province and nationwide, to come out and vote, emphasizing that each person’s vote holds meaning.
After casting his vote, Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat immediately boarded a van. According to schedule, he planned to fly to Bangkok to await the vote counts and election results at the Kla Tham Party headquarters.
“Ajarn Maem” voted and declined to discuss numbers, stating she would focus on doing her best.
Professor Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, leader of the Kla Tham Party, along with her husband, Supreme Court judge Jumphon Pinyosinwat, went to vote and participate in the referendum at the polling station in front of Nawathani Village, Seri Thai Road, Ram Inthra subdistrict, Khan Na Yao district, Bangkok.
Professor Dr. Narumon briefly said she would not comment on how many votes the party might receive but promised to do her best.
