He emphasized that voters should prepare their ID cards, including expired ones, or other government-issued photo IDs with a 13-digit number to present to polling officials. For early voters, the ECT will designate specific locations for the constitutional amendment referendum within the designated areas.
The Secretary-General of the ECT further stated, that on the previous night, the ECT and security agencies monitored vote-buying leaders and seized evidence of preparations at about 2-3 locations. In recent times, security agencies have closely monitored key figures at risk of vote-buying in several areas to enforce strict oversight. Throughout the day, the ECT will continue to provide updates on the election atmosphere and progress until vote counting is completed.
