8 Feb 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Korn Chatikavanij, Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party and Prime Ministerial candidate, along with his wife, Mrs. Worakorn Chatikavanij, and family, went to vote in both the MP election and the referendum on the new constitution at the Noddy Playgroup by Elizabeth childcare center in Yen Akat, Sathorn district, Bangkok. Voters had been arriving steadily since before 8:00 a.m., and turnout continued throughout the morning. Mr. Korn will head to the Democrat Party headquarters after voting ends at 5:00 p.m. to monitor the election results with the party's executive committee.

"Dr. Kanday" expressed excitement and encouraged everyone to fully exercise their right to vote.

, Mrs. Kanday Liao Phairoj, Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party and Prime Ministerial candidate, voted in both the MP election and the referendum on the new constitution at Donwittaya School, Soi Suan Wiang, Bang Kapi district, Bangkok, earlier this morning. After voting, she said she was very excited and noted the lively atmosphere. Officials were very helpful in assisting voters, and the voting procedures were orderly and clear. She also urged all eligible voters to participate fully in selecting representatives to govern the country.

It was reported that Mrs. Kanday planned to spend midday with her family before heading to the Democrat Party headquarters after the polls close at 5:00 p.m. to join the party executives in monitoring the election results.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sakolthee Phattiyakul, Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party responsible for Bangkok, accompanied by his mother, Mrs. Sasinee Phattiyakul, voted in both the MP election and referendum at the former office of the Expressway Authority of Thailand (near Soi Phaholyothin 42) in Chatuchak district. It was reported that Mr. Sakolthee would also go to the Democrat Party headquarters after polls close to follow the election results.

At 11:00 a.m., Mr. Chuan Leekpai, a party-list MP candidate and former Democrat Party leader, arrived at his polling station at Wat Khuan Wiset, Wisetkul Road, Thap Thiang subdistrict, Mueang district, Trang province, and cast his votes in both the MP election and the referendum.
