"Ajarn Ton Weerayut" called on the public to exercise their voting rights, emphasizing that everyone has the freedom to decide independently without being owned by anyone. He also requested assistance in monitoring polling stations during vote counting to ensure transparency.
On 8 February 2026, Mr. Weerayut Kanchuchat, deputy leader of the People's Party and the party's third prime ministerial candidate, went to polling station number 2 in Bang Kaeo Subdistrict, Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province (near Permsub Market) to cast his vote. He stated that every vote is the absolute right of the people; no one owns anyone else. Everyone has the freedom to decide their future independently at all levels of the election.
Mr. Weerayut advised voters who are heading out to allow extra time due to heavy traffic. He noted that the atmosphere at the polling stations was smooth, with officials providing good assistance. He reminded voters not to forget to cast their votes in the referendum simultaneously, and if possible, encouraged citizens to help monitor the vote counting at polling stations to uphold the legitimacy of the results as responsible citizens.
When asked about his voting time, Mr. Weerayut said he did not choose a special auspicious time. Although some arrived at 10:46 a.m., he prioritized convenience and traffic conditions. He added that he would be stationed at the People's Party headquarters to follow the results closely, noting that no fraud has been detected so far.
