
'Nida Poll' reveals survey results after the election polls closed, finding that a majority of 54.68% of the public support drafting a new constitution.
At 17:00 on 8 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the 'Nida Poll' survey center at the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) projected the referendum results on drafting a new Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand. The survey was conducted from 31 Jan to 6 Feb 2026 GMT+7 among 2,895 citizens aged 18 and over with voting rights, sampled from all regions, education levels, occupations, and income groups nationwide. The survey used probability sampling from the master sample database of 'Nida Poll' with multi-stage sampling. Data was collected via telephone interviews, with a margin of error not exceeding 0.05 at a 97.0% confidence level. The survey results are as follows.

The survey found that 54.68% of the public approve, 31.54% disapprove, and 13.78% marked no opinion.
