"Ajarn Chen" affirmed confidence in having a chance, thanked supporters and encouraged his team, saying that if given the opportunity to form a government, he would do his best. If not, he would continue to stand firm and fight for the people.
On 8 Feb 2026 GMT+7 at 17:30 at the Pheu Thai Party headquarters, Yotsanan Wongsawat, the party’s prime ministerial candidate, gave an interview after the polls closed and various poll results were reported. He said he remains confident as before, thanked every vote for Pheu Thai, which serves as encouragement for them to continue working. He wanted to encourage the team and supporters, saying regardless of the outcome, they have done their best today. If given the chance to form a government, they will do their best. If not, they will stand firm and fight for the people, as this is the philosophy of Pheu Thai.
When asked about the poll results compared to those of the Pheu Thai Party, Yotsanan said they still need to evaluate because not all polls have been released yet. The party is conducting this analysis regionally, and many regions are as expected. Regarding aggregating results, he said he would discuss this with the committee and the team first.
When asked whether he has a chance or confidence, Yotsanan affirmed that there is definitely a chance and offered encouragement to supporters.
