The top 10 prospective party-list MPs of the Democrat Party have been revealed following Abhisit Vejjajiva's announcement thanking the public and expressing readiness to serve as the opposition.
On 8 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Abhisit Vejjajiva, leader of the Democrat Party and prime ministerial candidate, expressed gratitude to the public after the election ballot boxes closed and vote counting began until 20:45. He especially thanked those who voted for the Democrat Party. Although counting was not yet complete, preliminary seat projections and vote shares met expectations. Party discussions indicated a significant increase in party-list MP seats, particularly in nearly every southern province and Sukhothai, where party-list MPs ranked first. He also confirmed readiness to serve as the opposition, as previously reported.
