Feeling hopeful. "Economic Party" Thanks to every vote. "2026 Election" Reveals four party list MP names.
At 22:30 on 8 February 2026, Mr. Chris Potranan, chairman of the Economic Party, stated, "We sincerely thank all the votes cast by the people. The vote counting is still ongoing, but we expect to receive over one million votes.
We, the Economic Party and all party officials, are deeply moved and feel hopeful because of the trust the people have given us. However, many citizens have reported irregularities in this election to our party, and we estimate vote-buying may have occurred in up to 100 districts. The Economic Party will act as a representative to investigate these actions that could compromise the fairness and integrity of this election.
The Economic Party will fully perform its duties regardless of the number of seats won. Today, the people's hope has risen with the Economic Party. Therefore, whether anyone is elected or not, we promise the people we will not stop working. We will not let your hopes be wasted. We want you to know that every vote you gave us will be honored to the fullest, and we will not give up on this system until the country changes."
According to the unofficial 2026 election results as of 23:00, the Economic Party has won four seats, all from the party list. The top four candidates on the Economic Party's party list for MPs are as follows:
1. Mr. Chris Potranan
