Rakchat Party Affirms Ideology of Pure Water Drives Out Polluted Water Regardless of Winning Seats

Chaiwut and Dr. Jes thank all voters, firmly upholding the stance of "Pure Water Drives Out Polluted Water" to reform politics. They reveal that whether Rakchat wins parliamentary seats or not, the party's ideology will not disappear.

On 8 Feb 2026 at 20:30 GMT+7, Mr. Chaiwut Thanakmanusorn, leader of the Rakchat Party and prime ministerial candidate, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jes Thonawanik, another prime ministerial candidate, led the Rakchat team—including constituency and party-list candidates—to jointly express gratitude to the public after six weeks of campaigning. They emphasized that Rakchat is a coalition of young people and academics aiming to be the "pure water" that drives out the "polluted water," transitioning Thai politics toward transparency and creativity.

Mr. Chaiwut stated that as Rakchat's leader, he sincerely thanks all citizens who supported the party during the approximately six weeks of campaigning. In their visits, they received continuous support and positive responses from the public. He expressed gratitude for every vote and encouragement given, acknowledging that Rakchat was founded on a clear ideology: a coalition of young people, scholars, and knowledgeable administrators working together to build a political party that represents hope for citizens seeking to improve politics. They aim to be the "pure water" that expels the "polluted water," fostering better politics for the future with patriotic dedication, inviting everyone to join in building this political party.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jes expressed thanks to the Election Commission (EC), its secretary-general, and all officials who bore the heavy responsibility of ensuring the election was conducted honestly and fairly. He noted that this election process serves as an important lesson, revealing that Thailand's political system still requires improvement and development in areas that are lacking.

Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jes emphasized the future of the Rakchat Party following the election, stating:

“Regardless of whether Rakchat wins parliamentary seats or how many, the party's ideology will not vanish. We will continue to move forward, bringing in knowledgeable young people to drive the country, working together to eliminate threats and preserve what is good.”
