On 9 Feb 2026, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, the prospective MP for Constituency 1 of the Bhumjaithai Party in Chonburi, revealed that in the afternoon he will ride a parade truck starting from the office, thanking voters in Nong Ri Subdistrict, Nong Khang Khok Subdistrict, then looping back through Huai Kapi, Mueang, and Saen Suk Subdistricts. The route will pass Ban Phuek and Ang Sila Subdistricts before returning to our home at Samed Subdistrict to thank over 45,000 votes given by the people.
In addition, some vendors posted their desire for the Khon La Khrueng Plus project and border security. He said that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has been firm and has maintained Thailand’s sovereignty securely.
Regarding positions, he has not discussed that yet because the formation of the government or cabinet is the Prime Minister’s responsibility. The process must follow the Election Commission's certification of candidates, then proceed to the parliament to vote on the Prime Minister. Once the Prime Minister is chosen, the cabinet formation follows. Who becomes ministers or cabinet members is at the Prime Minister’s discretion, who must be approved by the House of Representatives according to Thailand’s constitutional law.
Other matters are normal in competition. There are winners and losers; two sides of the same coin. We must accept that competition exists within democracy. Whoever gains the majority vote from the people earns the right to serve them. This depends on the trust of the voters.
However, all must stay within the law. Do not slander or defame others. Anyone who does so will face legal proceedings for defamation and election laws, which can carry a maximum penalty of 10 years. We must accept that in politics, whoever becomes a representative or winner cannot force the public into the voting booths. The people exercise their voting rights equally, regardless of wealth or background.
This morning, I saw some posts where people recklessly placed my ballot alongside pictures of money. I ask, anyone could do this since ballots are distributed in the hundreds of thousands to every household. Such behavior is unbecoming and looks bad. Those responsible must accept the consequences as we will pursue legal action.
I am not panicked or alarmed, but shocked that people think this way. Before doing anything, one should feel ashamed of their actions—ashamed before society, before family and neighbors for spreading slander that damages others’ reputations.
