Ice Erupts, Challenges Suchart to Swear No Election Fraud, Questions Who Holds Power in Chonburi

The Chonburi Election Commission confirmed there will be no recount in Constituency 1 after crowds stormed the office upon discovering "misaligned ballots." Ice Rakchanok said, "If nothing is wrong, what is there to fear?" She questioned who holds power in Chonburi and challenged Suchart to swear he did not cheat in the election.

On 9 February 2026, the Chonburi Provincial Election Commission Office posted on Facebook to clarify that a group of citizens and students had stormed their office demanding a recount in Constituency 1, where Suchart Chomklin from the Bhumjaithai Party was a candidate. They cited suspicious "misaligned ballots," discrepancies between vote counts and voter turnout, opened ballot boxes without cable ties. The commission stated that after investigating, the claims of a recount in Constituency 1, Chonburi Province, are completely untrue.

Rakchanok Srinok, a prospective party-list MP for the People's Party, posted on her personal Facebook saying that if the Chonburi Election Commission had done nothing wrong and counted votes fairly from the start, what would there be to fear? The public has seen irregularities, with clear evidence of misaligned ballots. She asked who holds power in Chonburi, questioning if anyone fears a recount that could overturn the results. She also stated that candidates who dare to swear they did not commit election fraud should prosper, but if they did cheat, they should have a miserable life.
