On 10 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Sabida Thaiset, Minister of Culture and prospective party-list MP for Bhumjaithai Party, expressed gratitude for all the votes received, saying they are an important encouragement for her work. She said she had previously traveled to meet the people to campaign and felt very tired, but upon receiving the opportunity to work as entrusted by the public, her fatigue disappeared, reminding her to work even harder.
When asked if she would remain in the same ministry in the new cabinet, Sabida said it depends on the Prime Minister's decision. She said staying in her former ministry to continue existing projects would be good, but she is ready to serve any ministry assigned to her. Taking charge of another ministry would be a challenge and a new experience. However, she does not yet know the details and must wait for the Prime Minister's decision.
Asked about her performance in the two months as Minister of Culture, Sabida said she personally feels she could have done more. The period was quite short, and many projects and policies require time to implement, but several parts have been completed, such as organizing roadshow events domestically and abroad.
