The Khon Kaen Election Commission is ready to submit the parliamentary election vote count report for all 11 constituencies to the Central Election Commission for certification. Meanwhile, disqualified candidates continue to file complaints, but no official complaints have been received regarding the clip showing money attached to brochures.
At 13:30 on 10 Feb 2026 GMT+7, at the Khon Kaen Election Commission office, Mr. Watchara Sisan, Director of the Khon Kaen Election Commission, disclosed that directors of the 11 electoral districts in Khon Kaen province have completed and submitted unofficial vote count reports in the form of report S.S.6/1 to the Khon Kaen Election Commission, following proper procedures. Yesterday, all district election commissions were instructed to verify the vote counts again—not to recount—ensuring every step was thorough and accurate, matching the numbers and letters exactly. Now, all 11 districts have submitted their S.S.6/1 reports. This afternoon, there will be a joint meeting with election inspectors and all working committees to certify the results and forward them to the Central Election Commission for official certification.
"Yesterday, I instructed a verification of the vote counts, not a recount as some misunderstood, because all districts worked diligently to minimize errors. Therefore, once everything was confirmed and matched the reported results, the S.S.6/1 reports were finalized. This afternoon, the Khon Kaen Election Commission will publicly post the unofficial vote count results on the notice board in front of the office, including referendum vote counts for all 11 constituencies."
Mr. Watchara added that regarding constituency 11, where images showed the top elected candidate's vote count exceeding the number of voters, the discrepancy originated from a data input error in the system by the Provincial Electricity Authority. The Election Commission's review confirmed the official S.S.6/1 report figures were accurate, and all errors have been corrected to reflect the true vote count and number of voters. This has been reported to the Central Election Commission.
"Regarding constituency 8 and the clip showing money attached to brochures, no official reports or complaints have been received as shown in the clip. The investigation team is currently verifying the information. The Election Commission has the authority to investigate and take action on all matters with credible information. Similarly, in constituency 3, concerning the incorrect figures displayed on signs, a complaint with documentary evidence was submitted by a People's Party parliamentary candidate, and the case is under investigation."
