“Theng Natthapong” submitted a letter to the Election Commission chairman requesting copies of parliamentary election vote count reports to compare with polling station results, aiming to verify the Election Commission’s integrity, while the People’s Party has opened a channel to report election irregularities.
On 10 February 2026, Mr. Karunpon Thiansuwan, deputy spokesperson for the People’s Party, posted an image of a letter signed by Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut, party leader, addressed to the Election Commission chairman. The letter concerns a request for copies of documents related to the elections held on 1 and 8 February 2026.
As the leader of a political party that nominated parliamentary candidates, he requested assistance to inspect and copy five main categories of documents regarding the nationwide parliamentary elections.
1. Reports on the vote counts for constituency and party-list parliamentary seats, according to form สส.5/18.
2. Reports on early voting results, both constituency and party-list, according to form สส.5/16.
3. Reports on vote counts from out-of-constituency and overseas ballots, according to form สส.5/17.
4. Score sheets for parliamentary elections, both constituency and party-list, according to form สส.5/11.
5. Announcements regarding the number of ballots after voting completion, according to form สส.5/7.
The People’s Party is willing to pay the copying fees and any related charges in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and thus respectfully requests this assistance.
Additionally, the People’s Party has opened a form for reporting election irregularities to facilitate systematic management. If anyone has relevant evidence or information, please submit it through the provided form.
Reports indicate that the party’s reason for requesting to review the election result documents is to compare them with polling station results they have gathered. Even if a recount results in a loss, at least it will have tested whether the Election Commission’s work is truly "honest, fair, and lawful" as claimed.
